First impressions:

—beautiful outside, had players instantly begging for a Connie update. Single floor, looks like a huge Meteor.

—rear entry is unnecessarily small and includes step-overs that are out of place where you should be pushing gurneys. There should have been room for a ground vehicle here and this was deliberately nerfed. Terrible shame. There is room for a NURSA if they had wanted that, but no. Can’t give the players what they want.

—airlock animation is next gen. Everything to love here.

—most players liked the interior. I did not. It felt very half effort to me with a shocking amount of wasted space and puke-inspiring color scheme. Very blah. If you had considered using this ship for C&C or exploration, you will be extremely turned off by the lack of utility. I have strong concerns about the team who thought this was a good idea. Wasted space every fucking where. No one builds planes, trains, boats, military nor civilian vehicles of any type and certainly not spacecraft like this. No one. EVER.

—one of the exceptions to the blah is certainly the elevator that brings you outside from the bridge. The deployable handrail stows in order to leave a clean floor in the middle of the bridge. A++++. Next gen artistry all the way.

—my hopes were met, that CIG would realize 1S3 reactor was too much and place 2S2 instead. They did precisely this, which means it can be equipped with stealth components! So equipped it delivers a minimum signature of 2.4, which is shockingly low for a ship this size! Compare this against a similarly equipped 400i which can only obtain a 4.8.

—CIG fucked it all up by taking out the S3 sensor array in favor of S2. Someone needs to put a heavy boot up someone’s ass. So disappointing. . .This ship was unique that it included an S3 array in a medium ship. Why fuck that up? If you sold it to players with S3, how do you just take that away? Assholes!

Some will love this ship. Others it will drive crazy. Yes, it is in Erkul if you care to peek.

I personally can’t see living aboard a ship painted up inside like this. Most uninspiring. They could at the least have given the impression of a hospital floor and utterly failed, IMHO. Where is the genuine imitation wood grain vinyl? Where are the rolling IV racks and monitoring stations? Where are the sterile garbage disposals? I get the distinct impression that none of these designers have ever been in an ambulance nor a hospital.

Also appears to have 2 x 16scu containers worth of cargo and all guns slaved to pilot which is a plus. There does seem to be a lot of wasted space. I guess the 600i dev team is back.

I also hate the massive wasted space. It's mostly due to them removing the drone bay/control area.
They just took it out (or never installed it), and didn't do any work to make the empty space believable.
Like you said with rolling IV's, bio-waste cans, rubber glove boxes, boxes of bandages, other medical supplies, etc...
Not even chairs or stretchers for "triage" room patients, no gurney, no sci-fi disinfecting force field, nothing lol.

I'm going to keep my Medevac for a bit, but honestly, it's position is very tenuous within my fleet right now.
The Apollo's only have one real benefit over anything else and that's a T1 Medbed. Let's see how this plays out. 🍿
