I wonder if @Blind Owl knows the answer?
As much as @Blind Owl may know, I'm pretty sure that even CR would be stumped by this question as the readings in the ship matrix fluctuate more than the heartbeat readings of somebody with random heart murmurs that is watching Jurassic Park for the 1st time.
If Neo's The Matrix was a reliable as CIGs, the movie wouldn't have had those sequels (which I havn't watched so don't know if they are any good.)

Could it be the ship itself doesn't carry cargo but, has a way to connect to a special cargo crate?
If you look at ships like the Aquila it doesn't show the Merlin or Rover but, they still come with the Aquila.

We should boycott until they change it so the aurora can atleast carry a mans lethal weight in beer on those things...
Maybe the cargo capacity isn't specified on the Aurora because it's only supposed to carry liquid (i.e.: beer) INSIDE the pilot.
