Variable geometry like the Reliant but in more a diamond broadhead shape that doesn’t swing the bridge. . .kinda like the Skipray Blastboat if you’re familiar, but that justifies some crazy low crossection. Two dorsal turrets, port and starboard. Armor up the dorsal and leave the ventral lightly armored as one intends to keep the dorsal toward opponents. Result should be better maneuverability than others in the class but some specific fragility built in that can be exploited by knowing opponents. . .
Can you provide an image of which Sci-Fi ship you are talking about? Cuz It gave me the feelings of one of Star Trek ships that shape resembles That Super Fat fury Guardian Gunship... Probably from Piccard tv Series ...

Are we still talking about Mirai here? The Mirai that's all about competition, speed and power?
If we look at the Guardian, the biggest energy pool is them engines.
The biggest thing Mirai should build is a 2 seater. A fast courier or somesthing like that. Maybe the equivalent of a racing tourbus.
But a gunboat?
Well IF they did build one then maybe we'd get a racing track with a target shooting element?
Best of both worlds and a spectacular show i recon.
I'd rather expect a speedboat type torpedo attack craft though.
Or.. a bomber maybe?

Twin Ion Engine, TIE series is competitive, military class fighters and vessels from Star Wars Universe, it was inspiration for many games.
Same goes with other inspirations from other movies, books, cartoons.
Lore wise or canon or not.
The Mirai Fury was a competitive fighter/bomber/racer ship without Quantum engine as Same as basic TIE-Fighter.
Scorpius in other hand have Quantum engine as X-Wing has.
- but of course, Fury is no threat for Scorpius, and the Idea and theory crafting about bigger Fury arose.
That time, about 2 years ago it was a mad idea because Mirai is a Competitive Brant with racing ships, they called my theory the biggest bull crap ever created in Star Citizen age...
1 year have passed and thx to H8r115 we get 1st sketch, first draw image of Mirai Fat Fury...

3 months ago no one told me I was right, no one gave me a hand shake, no one apologized for calling "names" towards me. I gave a fuck and continued my research.
2 months ago I gave predictions, speculations for Its name and it having an interior and 2 versions.
- I've simply forgot about Concept from citcon 24...

Now as we fly around with the ship my dumb brain created from my dumb imaginary world I had that "tick" in my head about this exact concept from citcon24 " wait a minute...", and I gave a topic about it not being Guardian because of blah blah blah... Story above at the start of this thread...

What I have learned about Guardian production is that with early stage before the final design was accepted they did mix misc and Mirai ship parts together - prove is with Jump magazine, their words.

Considering this fact, and another with MISC having militaria ships such as Gemini, Freelancer MIS, and soon Starlancer TAC, having Mirai Guardian Qi, Guardian, Fury With Rockets, Razor Stealth Intredictior it's hard not to consider MISC/Mirai Guardian-like Super Fat Fury having a Gunship.
- and if we put again, Star Wars into this then yes... There are many TIE series ships that can be used there, even with the size of Polaris...

If you want to help me with bringing this theory to it's Prediction and speculation if not "Final" form them please do so, I'm eager for every information possible :)

The Skipray was a small gunship with a power curve far beyond something its size would normally have. It was a gunship posing as a starfighter. As a result, it could easily be supported by Corvettes for R&R, and hence made ubiquitous across the Galaxy, wherever the Imperials had holdings.

I am proposing something like this with the bare minimum interior for extended missions, but likewise with the bare minimum mass and radar cross section. I’m proposing a split diamond which is very close to what the Skipray presents, but much more heavily armed with 3S7 torps. This ship should be able to easily dispense with all large and smaller ships, while silently scouting Vanduul space.

Happy new year everyone !
- new prediction about The Next Fat Fury, Racing or Hauling - Why??
After deeper consideration I've noticed that Every single Military Ship Have a "Soldier" person next to it, That big Mf have a guy with sleek wear, could be Racing suit or Cargo guy type of person, and there are few crates in the right side of the screen, what do you think ??

Nope, it's just the first image with a pilot using the designated StarWear flight suit.
