let me ask You now - how many times do i have to provide the screen ? its here, how many times ?
Just looking for a more compelling case than what was shared and not finding it.
pretty sure You are Wrong as this frame of even Basic Guardian can fit 2 and a half S9 Torpedo...
Torpedo length vs total hull length doesn't seem to be the best justification for adding larger weapons given this ship's architecture.

I don't see a Guardian upgrade from Size 4 missiles to Size 9 torpedoes happening, so gotta give this theory a thumbs down.

Guys... While talking with TristPWN about my theory of Fat FURY I came up with something ... Again...
It's not about Guardian now but an another silhouette that we can witness soon...
... And I think my antibiotics for sinusitis kicked to hard but I'm gonna paste here my lastest writings with Trist...
But before that, please watch before reading my theory below as it kick a lot of more answers ...

And now back to the offtopic of this topic:

Imperial ships, especially Tie' series were very experimental ships - yes I've started here...
Because there is a SC brand that is very experimental, it's name is MIRAI, and as Tie Fighter was very experimental light fighter ship it used it's "wings" to collect cosmic radiation (solar waves) to increase its running distance with charging batteries, same wings were used as shield because Tie (Twin Ion Engine) were left with no electromagnetic shields like any other ship, these were left without hyperdrive (quantum drive).
The CIG took that idea into SNUB fighter known as FURY, but because it's looks can't be too much copy pasted so they separated these wings and gave them other proposes while adding EM shields but kept the quantum drive removed.
...
Anyway, the experimental technology was used by Imperial engineers from conquered worlds...
- the technology used in SC by MISC is know as Xian, almost everything from the engines, wings or the maneuverability is out of our world.
- The guardian as we know today is basically Tie-Advanced, a ship that has its own EM shields and Hyperdrive...

Anyhow back to MISC, as these ships are filled with many Xian technology things, from engines to even ship wing/body rotation with it's pilot seat being gyro-something ... In talking about RELIANT series, Mako, Tana etc... These have strange ball/gimbal like engines, ball turrets (now you think where I'm going)...
And a special system that could turn your half body with wings from horizontal to vertical while giving its pilot perfect centered positioning, it's out of this world... Again...
- and not only the empire in star wars used experimental technology, same goes with SC Esperia or Banu, while I can point the fact RELIANT Tana is basically a copy of Ahsoka Tano ship... There is another theory of mine that the Drake Ship as we think it is One is basically MISC with similar features as Reliant Tana... What if these wings from sides are as you draw it with your imagination, it is correct and that down wing is going as you draw it in your video... I go with that idea ! But even drake is questionable with such a design... They are not as clever as that... And it could be 4 in one:
- cargo hauler (starlancer mini)
- medium patrol ship (tac mini)
- heavy bounty hunter ship (Tana max)
- something else yet!

So it's almost all according to your drawing, but the ship is going side rotation in where that cockpit and ball turret matches it's verticality (centered) and that down wing becomes it's side wing while others are top and the bottom one...
Aaaannndd you know who used experimental technology? Rebellion / Resistance / Republic...
Especially B-Wing... And look what we have here... Everything matches, even your side turret gives here some vibes of it... What do you think of this theory?
