Canada works too. I like the people, I'm terrified of the weather.
It's not terrible in winter as even the snowmen are friendly.
I have to say I've been to both Sydney, Nova Scotia and Carder, Wisconsin in January and I'd take Sydney any day of the week. (Was still fun trying to get a plane ticket to Sydney as they kept telling me it would be a 23 hour trip to some place on a criminal island. I've watched escape from New York no thank you.
