No need to wait until the new year, put in a support ticket as soon as for an account reset it's littereally what they are there for especially at this time of year - you wouldn't want them to get bored now, would you? An account reset is the last thing to do before accepting the game for your computron is having some kind of incompatibility.To anyone still interested, the game is officially broken now. After USER folder deletion, and full deletion of the game and appdata, and re-installation I have found no fix or workaround to this issue. I've noted it and updated it on the Issue Council so hopefully it will get fixed. I'll likely contact CIG support after New Years as I don't think they need to worry about it until then. Thanks to everyone that tried to help me out.
In the mean time, as long as the game lets you log in, I suggest going on TEST dischord and meeting up with other TESTies and being crew for them. You can do the runny shooty boxey grabby stuff and they can fly the transport, you can even get in on that group 890j mission if someone else is flying you there. Don't give up! Fun is still to be found even in the most bugged of times.
