Too new for pirates!

Hi all -I'm Rasfer - just joined the game - learning how to fly, get blown up every time a pirate sees me! - Not so good yet with fighting in space. Waaaay too many keyboard combos to learn lol.
Its a bit more taxing than WoW!

There is a very easy solution to that, leave the keyboard, invest some money in a HOTAS and learn to fly like it is supposed to be. The only controls you need to fly are: pitch, yaw and throttle. If you want to fight: shoot, missiles, counter measurements, targeting. If you can fly and shoot, than you can advance to strafe, boost, afterburner.
