Here is my AAR:
First of all thanks O Lefty for organizing and kicking this off

Biggest issue is the game itself and its bugs.
Rubberbanding makes it hard to follow your group
Jumping to your Team crashes you into the Planet
Also QT with a larger group is pretty hard to do and there are a lot of bugs with the QT System itself
Missions are way too easy as the AI is pretty stupid
Communication system is not working and very limited
All those Bugs Made the event feel a little slow and chaotic

Sometimes i was missing a little comm discipline as several people where talking at same time (missing communication system)


At the end we did a drug run and i had a lot of fun providing overwatch with my Freelancer Mis also could scare the shit out of an innocent Freelancer Dur approaching our drugs op.
II would love to see his face as several missiles locked onto him and a storm of bullets splashed into the shield.

I myself need to work on my workflow identifying and callIng out targets as it took me too long to lock onto him.

PSA:
Some people see to have issues earning money. Atm those "destroy skimmer" missions pay out 6500 UEC, you can ignore any enemy presence and just head for those skimmers and make a lot of cash in a short time.

Put "Target Status" on one of your MFDs. The visor HUD only shows type of ship and friendly or hostile, you must get the ship in your view to see the pilot name. The MFD also shows pilot name.
When calling out targets, always use pilot name and ship type.

Hi guys nice event last night, looking forward for the next one!

Some feedback for improving this kind of event and speed it up a bit:
- set a rally point in the event page, like "We will start from PortOlissar" se there is no nedd to wait for other player to reach the location (taht could take a while for small ship), better if according to the mission we are goint to attempt (if we are running the first mission on Hurston then rally point should be there)
- do a proper comunication check to assure thet anyone can clearly hear all the other
- do breefing and de-breafing while on the move: there is no reason for standing still on an elevator for doing that, we could do while flying to the location.
- most of the player name are missing/not shows up, so an initial run to identify who is who is a needed practice, especially if there are several player with the same set of armour, this will also improve command experience and can lead to a better team performance

Finally, do NOT attempt to quantum jump through a planet, it will end bad....:drunk:

Thanks everyone for showing at the event! My impression is that it was a great success despite the technical difficulties because the main objective was met: provide a basic understanding of how TSMC operates to the attendees.

All of the comments received during and after the event are very appreciated, and we will make an effort to act on any that we can. Understandably some of them I cannot address, i.e. the game is messed up.

One comment that I would like to address here right off the bat is that TSMC is intended for all FPS oriented gameplay as the PU currently exists. We are not restricted to RP-lite training events, or hardcore competitive Star Marine rounds, or Yellow on Yellow combat scenarios, or any other one aspect of FPS. We encompass all FPS aspects of the game. As more people get involved with TSMC the types of events and frequency will increase. Many of you have already come forward with your ideas of what types of events you would like to see. Expect a poll thread soon to capture many of these ideas in an attempt to accommodate the most popular of them in the very near future.

Thanks again for your participation! The best thing you can do if you want to see more FPS content is to get your fellow TESTies involved too. If you want to run an event, feel free to contact me or any of the other officers/mods and we will work with you to make it a reality.

Yeah, at some point O-Lefty said: "line up in front of me". I assumed that he was standing with his back to the exit, sooo.... I standing at the elevator buttons was a good spot, only one guy next to me.... until O-Lefty said during briefing: "Hi marcsand".... doh, such a personal mention during a briefing only means that I wasn't at the right spot 😁

I suggest common yellow armor for everybody, if you want to differentiate between squads, use one armor part, arms or undersuit for example, with a different color, tan or orange instead of yellow.
