Bought DBZ Kakarot (dont judge me :p) and cant get the fucker to start, see below for Crashlog.
It starts up fine but crashes at the ' checking system data' part.
Thought Id try my luck here since support is silent.

System 3800x
32GB ram
1080GTX

All well within temp limits.

Things I have tried:
Reinstalled latest NVIDA driver
Excluded folder / turned off virusscanner (Webroot)
Every executable set as 'run as administrator'
Multiple :Verify Integrity Of Game Files”
Installed on multiple drives (C, D and E)
Unplugged all joysticks
Tried on multiple monitors and resolutions
Checked all other drivers (All latest versions)
Tried turning off boost for GPU (nvida control panel -> help -> debug mode
Underclocking my GPU
A combination of both
Deleted appdata/local/AT content

This is the error:

So the error
Code:
<ErrorMessage>LowLevelFatalError [File:Unknown] [Line: 330]
Direct3DDevice->CreateTexture2D(TextureDesc,SubResourceData,OutTexture2D) failed
at D:\AT\PROJECT\branches\v102\Engine\Source\Runtime\Windows\D3D11RHI\Private\D3D11Texture.cpp:479
with error E_INVALIDARG,
It is often caused by an incompatible graphics card / DirectX version.
A quick search shows upgrading the graphics driver seems to solve it for most.

Yeah first thing I did, reverted to a few earlier drivers too but ended up doing a clean install with the current drivers

The game came out last week so I would presume they are using the latest version of Direct X.

The system requirements: DirectX: Version 11
DXDiag says: DirectX Version: DirectX 12

Can I revert to DirectX 11? I also checked if I had the latest version of DirectX and this was the case.

I found this, tried it yet?

TL/DR: There's a V-Sync issue with the game, try setting it to 'Adaptive Half Refresh' in Nvidia control panel and disabled for the in-game settings.

Welp after using DDU to really uninstall my Nvidia drivers in safe mode and reinstalling them the game finally worked, huzzah!

edit: I hate it!
Damn, it has been ages since I had to use DDU to address driver issues, had to go into Safe Mode for it to fully purge?

Sucks that after all that you hate the game.

Haha its not that bad, I feel kinda stupid that it was a driver issue in the end like everyone told me. It was a fresh windows install on a new PC so I never thought that would be the case and I thought reinstalling the same driver would have been enough.
I did update my chipset drivers at one point so they think that was the culprit.
