I think it's much more likely that we'll see component consumable buffs that grant temporary bonuses, than it is to see actual components. I think this is what the consumable system is abll about--cool Lootz!

Abount the loot... well, I'm looting since a couple of patches right now: why bother to buy those P4-AR when youn can simple get them form a previus owner... actually about 120 of owners....
On the loot generation: I think that the random generator they are talking on the video refer to the loot find in crate or box, nott the actuall dead scavanger loot. In previus video CIG state that the corpse loot will be a "that you see is what you get" so if see a fancy armor or weapon, you'll find exactly that type of armor or weapons on the corpse (and this also incentivise disguise apparel), on top of that you'll also have a percentage of random item that the body carryin the poket, like medpen, criptokey, datapad, access key etc...
