Sopwith (1984), Transport Tycoon (1995), Carmageddon (1997), Interstate '76 (1997), Minecraft (2011).

Remember, just because a game is old doesn't mean it isn't new to you and there are some total gems out there

Hm. Subnautica, Just Cause, Battlefield/Battlefront (I suck at FPS games but love the gameplay at the same time, I'm just there for the singleplayer campaigns). Played War Thunder, WOWS, and EVE in the past. Star Citizen (obviously). Open world games I'd have to say are my favorite. If I can blow stuff up and explore it's my type of game. I'd love to try Sea of Thieves but I currently play on a cloud gaming service until I get around to building my PC, and said service doesn't have the Windows Store.

Sea of thieves beta, Portal 2, Metal Gear V, that sort of thing. Um, Subnautica finally released if you want to actually finish the game.
I play a ton of Day of Infamy, but that doesn't really sound like your thing. I highly recommend mount and blade, if you haven't played it, though. It's bloody amazing. If you don't want to put too much effort into finding good mods, the viking conquest dlc for it is one of the best games I've ever played.

If you can afford a switch ..
I gotta tell you, I primarily play only either Star Citizen or Zelda: Breath of the Wild right now. Zelda really is *that* good. I'm about to buy a second Switch, so I can Zelda on my TV, ready at any time, and then use the second unit as a portable to play the other titles (like, Skyrim and soon Wolfenstein).
