The Vanguard is the best multi-crew because it can kill anything on this list and steal its treasure.
Can it kill the Stars Gnow that it has its proper size 5 gun?

Also, Star G always autocorrects to Star God for me. I might name mine that!

I don't think anything that size is ever going to be more than a target. Star G's are almost the last thing you want in a conflict. Granted, they're cool for a mobile base and such, but I think the Reclaimer is going to be even better. Of course if you want both, a Star G should fit inside a Reclaimer.

Its kind of a broad question, but I took it as which one would be most successfully profitable. That is why I chose the Starfarer, and here's why: It is a machine to print credits. Sure, you can refine fuel and sell it (Money printing), but you can also ferry a shit-ton of cargo (Which is apparently limited in the Gemini version??), support fleet ships with an effectively infinite range, and carry passengers (I'm assuming, depending on how that mechanic works) The only thing that puts it above the Freelancer in my mind (As far as versatility) is its ability to refine fuel. But who knows, maybe once you factor in the operating costs it will turn out that bigger is NOT better for profit margins. I suppose the fun will be in figuring that out for myself as these mechanics come online. (Don't worry @Printimus , I still like the Lancer)

Star G hands down! It's fully armored, has lots of turrets, a size FIVE gun, and lots of room and bunks for friends. Not to mention the Captain's blanky!
The nice blanky you're referring to is in the stock Starfarer, the StarG has the ugly, military one. IIRC. :(

It depends on how much crew and what you want to use it for. In game, right now, the best multi-crew for:
You and a buddy? Freelancer
You and 2-3 friends looking to do "whatever"? Connie (Andro or Aquila)
You and 2-3 friends looking to play around in a big ship and not accomplish much? Starfarer
One bored person and 5 frustrated people? Retaliator

Right now, multi-crew ships are not really relevant and you can't do much with them as the game is almost pure combat at this point. That may change in 3.0

As a concept towards the full game, I would say industrial ships and explorers will be the best multi-crew. While big combat ships will be available, I suspect that most people would prefer to be in their fighter after a bit of shooting things with a turret...

The only reason I choose my freelancer over my starfarer is smaller crew. I just think it will be easier to bounce around in the freelancer.

The beerfarer will be a bigger money maker but I will also need to either have 6 other people ready to play at the same time or pay for an npc crew. The logistics may be a bit much with limited time. I'm really hoping they do implement the ability to rent ships. That is my hope for my beerfarer, let someone else use it to make me money :)
