I guess that I'll be unique in stating that the ship that I can see myself living out of most would be the BMM.

It should have all of the basic amenities, plenty of cargo capacity, room for friends to join me as crew & provides multiple outlets of meeting others both in purchasing goods for hauling / trading as well as the market for trading to those looking to pick up what I'd found elsewhere. It's also guaranteed to have plenty of room to walk around in while out & about. I'm just hoping that CIG will pull their proverbial heads out of their digital asses & eventually allow us to purchase sexy / sexualized clothing for both males & females in game. I want my market staff of lady clerks to have the sexiest outfits possible (I'd love for them to have the semi-sheer, slave dancer dresses from Jabba the Hutt's palace) , because I candy is always good for business.

What ship would you rather live in, the Carrack or the Mercury Star Runner and why?

This is easy, Carrack, it has a med bay that is all you need to make this decision short and quick. But if we must continue, its range is far superior, it can bring a snub fighter or small craft as well as a ground vehicle or two, the sensors should be better and more powerful, its just not a fair comparison imo, if you want to compare a Star Runner you should prolly size it down a bit to the Corsair or 600I.

890J, may as well live with all the comforts, have to hit the spa and not let that recycled air dry out my precious skin.
If you need a pilot let me know - I wouldn't mind being paid shitloads of uec to live a life of comfort (and good quality air) ferrying some rich twat to his next vice fuelled orgy party.

I do own both, however neither.

The Carrack is large but doesn't offer amenities commensurate with its size and is too empty.
For example, you are on the upper bridge, in the engine room, in the Nav Suite, where is the nearest day head? There isn't even one in sick bay.

The MSR is too cramped.

If I could do a refit, the Phoenix or the 600i Explorer (Neither of which I own.)
The Phoenix needs a galley, it also needs an ensuite and storage in the master stateroom, it needs (at least) a full head in the passenger lounge, an additional entrance from the ground to the lounge, and suit storage, in several places. And the Kruger needs a quantum drive with enough fuel to do a round trip from orbit to surface.

The 600i needs to do something with the crew quarters, either turn the middle of the crew quarters into a crew rec area, or 4 seperate rooms. It needs a day head near the bridge, and in the bar/galley/lounge area. The 600i also needs an airlock, suit storage, connecting the cargo holds in the rear to the exterior. I would also get rid of the table in the middle of the dance floor in the back, turn the "Media Area" into a conference/dining table area, move the bar closer to the forward bulkhead and put a cabinet, similar to the Phoenix, behind it, add two pub tables, with bar stools to the aft end of the bar area, by the rail. Most importantly the 600i needs a yacht tender/runabout hangar (no bigger than a Pices or 85x). Note I am not asking for a tender to be included, just a hangar to be able to put one of them there.
