Hey there! I'm BigDirkEnergy.
- I currently reside in the US, in the great state of Colorado!
- I've always loved the "space-sim" genre (or really just space games in general), and I heard about Star Citizen probably 6 years ago when I started playing E:D, but was always hesitant to try it out given the alpha state and how long it has been in development. But after the Odyssey expansion disaster with E:D, I decided to finally give SC a go a few weeks ago, and man, do I wish I had backed the game sooner. It's been a lot of fun thus far!
- As far as what I'm looking forward to most, probably doing multicrew on large and capital ships, and maybe dipping my toes into the RP scene along with that. Depending on where the game goes and how big the verse gets, I also love the idea of getting a crew together in something like a Carrack or Odyssey to go explore for a long time out in the void.
- The first game I remember playing? Runescape. I didn't have a ton of gaming access growing up, so Runescape really caught my attention as a free to play MMO, and most of my free time back in Elementary school and Middle School went towards playing and grinding with my friends.
- I play a wide variety of games, but currently, the other games I play actively are Destiny 2, War Thunder, Halo Infinite, and Satisfactory.
- I heard about Test Squadron through Montoya's youtube channel. I was browsing some Star Citizen videos on Youtube, and decided to check him out. That led me here!
- I'm a Picard guy myself. I grew up watching Next Gen reruns after school, and the way that show delved more into the science and exploration part of the Star Trek universe was amazing to me.
