I'll premise this by stating I found it funny I had an invite from TEST on RSI from back in 2014 so I guess this was just meant to be.
I hail from Wilmington, NC in the US. I found myself becoming more and more enamored as time passes from the beginning to the current point of this games progress, I am an avid fan of the Sci-Fi genre and SC encompasses everything I have ever looked for in a game. I plan on enjoying many facets of SC, mainly combat/escort roles but will dabble in some mining and salvaging. So this is going to date me a bit but the first game I don't remember playing, too far back to actually remember, I was told I played my older cousins pong when I was 2-3 years old. My first real gaming experience came on the c64 and I believe Archon was the first game I played on it. I currently mess around with anything on steam that will catch my attention for a brief period of time, my 5-year-old daughter has started playing so we have been doing some Borderlands 2 to get her used to the feel, my daughter and my wife will be my slaves in SC (I hope they don't find this). Captain_Richard's zany antics brought me to the site but the chuckles that Montoya elicits made me take a deeper look. Original Kirk, he got way more strange than all the others combined and he probably drank some of the best booze the universe had to offer.
