Carrack is just an overhyped Freelancer DUR
Am I a heretic for loving each of the vehicles that are created for SC for their individual looks & features?
To me it sounds like that

Unfortunately they seem to be postponing ships on the development front so cannot see it being an existing announced ship. The only one we know about is the idris and that seems to have gone into the waiting for squadron 42. So yeah they may well have a ship go straight live but it will be new and for cash sadly this means no one can critique the build for the obvious mistakes like the Valkyrie venting the crew quarters!!!

Every hype around the DUR is totally justified.
Glad there are so many willing to fly the DUR. It gives me more target opportunities for my MIS.

We are really due for some realllllllly nice Crusader Industries ships to start making their appearance, SURPRISE HERE IS YOUR HERCULES!!!!
Not until the defender and 890 are done. Then maybe the Star Runner. The Genesis will need a complete rework to match the new style guide on crusader industries.
They might also do the Kraken. They don’t have to worry about base building like the Pioneer would, but it gives people a mobile base they can use. It’s also Drake, so the style guide is already done. Finally, it’s another capital ship they can do without spoiling SQ 42. With fuel transfers and cargo transfers, it opens a lot of gameplay loops for them to test.
