Who here has experience with DxTory?

Trying those, but not very confident that it will produce good
results.

Look man, the easiest way is just to try it and fiddle with it yourself.

I use it sometimes and it works better than stock AMD app.
If I had Nvidia I would most definitely try Shadowplay.

So, get DXtory and test away.

Also the results greatly depend on your hard drive speed.
So you better have a SSD ($80 man)

But my primary use for DXstory above anything else is this amazing FPS counter it has.

If you do not have a monster rig I would not recommend DXtory to you as it is way worse than shadowplay or even fraps.


BUT !!!!!!!
I would recomend you another amazing software for recording gaming vids.
I use it for years now.

It is from a company called Mirillis.
They have a kickass video player and they have other video progs, one of which is Action.
No clue why no one writes about them as they are really top notch.
Everyone always talks about Fraps this, shadowplay that,.. eww screw them.

The AMD app looked nice enough, but it didn't let me unbind unwanted commands, which means it had a greater chance of interfering with other game keybinds. In contrast, DxTory lets me unbind EVERYTHING and only bind what I want.

I just re-bound them to keys that would never show up for game hotkeys.....like CTRL+F1-12
