We will hit that goal in no time at all.Might I offer a possible solution? Put up a donation button for the javelin similar to the forum donations. Tell the story about why its happening. Worst thing that happens is you don't reach the goal
I'd say the limit would be the value of the ship.[CONCERN] But shouldn't then there be a fixed amount to donate?
This would prevent TEST from possible future disputes which easily could burst the communities' bonds imho.
What if we made the goal the value of the ship? He's getting back what he put in, he doesn't eat the other $500 (more diapers!), and we get a shiny new Javelin to crash into the sun. :)We will hit that goal in no time at all.
But I think Murderer needs to be sure he wants his baby to forgo diapers first.
I have recently been thinking,(i know i'm not supposed to, but it still happens, give me more beer). given the increase in numbers needed to crew a capital ship such as the Idris, I'll gladly donate the Javelin to the org for $1500. I appreciate the thoughtfulness and everyone arguing that I need more than that to make this work so I have diaper money and stuff. It was really hard for me to decide to sell this, but I'll be fine in the nearer future. It's just this end of the month I can't seem to wrap my head around. June 17th rolls around, and I'll be sailing in the black ink in the savings account again and this bird can fly.Hear hear! Also, I think putting good @Murderer at the helm of this Org Javelin isn't a bad thing. Justis thought.
I second this solution. Then everyone is onboard, knows what they're dealing with, and we have a platform to call home base as we strike out at launch.
$2500 is a lot for a used ship.I'd say the limit would be the value of the ship.

Tell you what, why don't you sleep on this.I'll gladly donate the Javelin to the org for $1500.
I feel you there brother. I was in the same boat last August.June 17th rolls around, and I'll be sailing in the black ink in the savings account again and this bird can fly
$2500? Jeez, I thought it was only $2000.$2500 is a lot for a used ship.
This is TEST. He probably had a drunken orgy (hence the baby) and smoked to celebrate his...ummmm, victory? ;)I mean look at this cockpit, its a mess and smells like he was smoking in here.
This is a good plan. Wisdom and such. We don't see or hear that often around TEST. Ha.Tell you what, why don't you sleep on this.
If you feel the same way tomorrow, let me know and lets chat on discord.
While TEST gains an awesome ship at a steep discount, you essentially donating money at a time when you are the one that needs money!
Lets chat about this tomorrow!
... says the owl. :)This is a good plan. Wisdom and such. We don't see or hear that often around TEST. Ha.
Touché.... says the owl. :)
This is truth. TEST Squadron has made SC so more more than a game, for me personally, and I reckon for many more.I mean, we've been together almost through a games play cycle without anything more than imaginative fun and a website. I am not aware of any other org in the game having more fun not playing it than we are. I mean hell, 9000! We should really be proud of this accomplishment!
I meant it more the way what happens when the one guy spends 1 Dollar, the next 100 and the other 1000...? Therefore I thought it perhaps would be wise to make a donation which only can filled 1 x 50 $ per member or else. Just thinking...I'd say the limit would be the value of the ship.
Ahhhhh, I understand ya. Yeah, what you say makes sense. I can't speak for anyone else, but I don't mind of someone gives more or less than I do. I'll just be happy to man a turret or be a navigator, fly escort, etc etc etc.I meant it more the way what happens when the one guy spends 1 Dollar, the next 100 and the other 1000...? Well, anyway - lets see what the night will bring for "Murderer" (such a creepy handle that is). ;)
You're a goddamned rocket surgeon!@Montoya, if you have [CONCERN] about the Javelin's bridge being a mess, just consider that the lowest paid for a Jackson Pollock was $2M. We might be able to jack up the price because of the Artistic use multiple materials.
Montoya got the ship now named Murderer. its a test ships for us to use in the verse. but murderer get priority on using it.Was there an outcome to this .... did Montoya get the ship in the end ?
