Yesterday, it was all about beer. But not regular. It was stuff from private, small brewers with up to 7% alcohol in it. Some bottles tasted like its mixed with red wine, some as the were brewed with lychees, and some with...I don't know. We agreed whereas you reached 1.5 promille it doesn't matter how (bad) it tastes :D Two friends drank some red wine in parallel. To be honest, I can't do this. This would be my death.

Thursday to Saturday or Sunday and Tuesdays, sounds like 4 days drunk, 3 days sober, good training
I never managed to that.
Well, as I said: the years of youth. It was all about Techno and partying; good times. But I have no idea how I survived it :D

Its worth it while still drinking. But the following days... I'm wondering how I managed this thirty years ago, partying from Thursday to Saturday or Sunday, some weeks additionally on Tuesdays, but still being able going to school or training centre...
Hang on this doesn't make any sense as 30 years ago you were -2 and so couldn't have been partying watching football??!!!

Haha, I feel exactly the same about that time of my life. The raves, the partying, the clubs. Techno beats and dancing all night long.
I look back in awe. How did I survive at all?
I'm only 26 and I'm already over the bar scene (Being in a Fraternity definitely dried that tap quickly). Do you have any idea how hard it is to make new friends as a 26 year old who doesn't like to go to the bars? It aint easy. That's why I have YOU degenerates.

(thats how I'm selling this to me. But there are days when I want to be 19 again...)

That said: I thought that you haven't reached the 40th..?
[edit]Ah, found it: 44. You're almost a mummy! :confused::eek::D

Hm, interesting. Have you noticed the funding trend 2016 of CIG?
Take a look:

Seems that a lot of backers have stopped buying hangar items and - foremost - ships! For sure, this graph will again go up at the time of the release of SQ42. But it seems that CIG now has to deliver the game!

I'm done with bars. Too crowded, too loud, too expensive. If you wanna make friends, visit a sports club. If you wanna have a girl friend, visit a "dancing teaching club" (Tanzschule) -> a 100% success possibility ;)

They would probably make more money if they put ALL the fancy spaceships they built up for sale. They keep trying to rely on folks panic buying when things are available for A LIMITED TIME ONLY. Dumb. There are several occasions where my own lack of self control would have idly lead me to purchase a ship, only to find that it was unavailable. I understand this tactic with "rare" type ships like the scythe and whatnot, but it dont make too much sense for things like the Sabre in my opinion. Whatever. It will save ME money....

Being a person who already has a significant other, the bars failed to have any appeal after that. Its just a bunch of people trying to get drunk enough to screw something. When it stopped being a participatory thing, going to the bars became an odd episode of National Geographic. "Watch as the competing males attempt to woo prospective females with liberal use of hair gel and the word "bro". When their attempts to land a female to mate with fail, the intoxicated males will often turn to violence or false displays of the THREAT of violence to impress a potential mate. Alas, the final unpaired female is out with her friend Becky, who is a total bitch and won't let anyone near her. Stupid-ass Becky."

Hi folks, long time no read. Sam, your very finest Irish hot chocolate, please! Winter has arrived and I just got home from surgery, it's been a long day.

Also, reading the recent comments it appears I am the only one who has never had a bar/clubbing phase. I cannot stand the crowded, dark rooms and bad music played way too loudly. It's definitely the pub scene for me.

And we have you, you filthy animal.

I hear you buddy. I'm well over it. I like a pub for a hockey game once in while, but the bar scene: no thanks.

Hahaha. This is precisely how my brother and I talked about it.
