Better than me, I only added 4 Heralds!Guys I have a problem. Just tonight I have added:
My current fleet is pretty small:
Avenger: if the aurora is a jack of all trades then the avenger is a queen. Everything the aurora does the avenger looks to outclass it. I intend this to be my cargo runner/bounty hunting/starter ship.
Aurora marque: I had $50 credit from melting my 'lancer into my avenger, so i decided to spend it on something that is currently flyable. The intention would be to melt this at first opportunity. Though I have to say it is growing on me.
Future:
Gladius such a gorgeous ship, I like light fighters as a rule. Unfortunately I didn't get an lti one when I had the chance. I doubt I will get a non lti one so this is probably something I'll get in game (ps if someone is about to melt an lti gladius please come to me instead!)
Bulldog: if I cant get an lti gladius then this will probably be what I get instead. So long as I like the design, I like the idea of a 2 pilotfighter for bro-op gameplay. Note I want lti on either of the fighters I'm looking at, I expect to crash a lot!
Retaliator: Testies; you have my express permission to tie me up away from a computer when this next comes on sale! I love this ship, I love sci-fi bombers (y-wings ftw) and the tali is simply gorgeous. That being said its going to be expensive and I really want it to be my long-term PU objective... on the other hand, sooo pretty! Want!

So far just three for me, though I've bought/melted a few things to get there.
M50: Bought it entirely cause it looks incredibly sexy, have not felt remotely bad about this purchase yet.
Avenger: I wanted something that was a one seater but had a bed and some cargo room so I could have some sort of capability to do missions solo. Originally I got the 325a, but after staring at the Avenger for awhile I was eventually won over by the massive gun and massive engine. I was also partially motivated by the fact that I kind of suck at dogfighting, and the likely "hit and run" tactics of the Avenger appealed to me. Also it looks awesome.
Redeemer: Originally I bought a Constellation, but when the Redeemer came out I couldn't help but melt the Connie to grab a Redeemer. I love the look of it (people can hate on the hair straighteners all they want, but I think they're neat), and the fact that it had dual manned turrets like the Constellation but in a smaller, more maneuverable package really appealed to me. THEN they added more guns, and I became even happier with my purchase. I'm holding out hope that it becomes possible to ditch the Marine seats in favor of a little extra cargo space, but even if not I think the sheer amount of firepower this thing has now will keep me happy. If it turns out that the Redeemer is truly useless outside of limited situations (as many people seem to be claiming), I'll probably wind up flipping the Redeemer back for a Connie (unless something else has come out by then that I decide I want more).
Not sure what I'll be looking to get in the future. I pretty much refuse to get a ship that I don't like the look of, so it's hard for me to say that I'll want any of the things that haven't been revealed yet.

I now own a Merchantman, so my cargo-carrying worries are more than satisfied. Also a 350r because gotta go fast. Trying to resist pulling the trigger on a Retaliator I have no need for besides want to own such a sexy-looking beast.

Given that the Tali is currently on sale, how are you holding up? I think there are a bunch of us in the same boat - it looks like gorgeousness drizzled with awesomesauce, but it's too expensive to really justify buying outright. Still, I badly want one just so I can have it loaded to the brim with torpedoes to ripple-fire them all at a massive capital ship in battle. But I just bought a Starfarer instead, as I think it will be a more practical ship once we get into the game.

Just started pledging and funds just weren't available for the LTI Gladius but the 6 months of insurance should let me get good enough with it risk free. Just bought a Cutlass blue w/ 2 yr and I'm really hungry for that Carrack.
