I would be very surprised if it had an S5 gun on there. Either way, I want them both. (Ask me again after I see the stats, lol)

Atm this ship does not interest me in the least. But I said that about the Eclipse too and i got that one. And the Nox. And others. Damn it. But really touring is not something i plan to do because if I want to go take a space vacation I'll get a Mustang Beta.

Is it just me or does it seem like the image is flipped? Only reason I say that is the "top" of the picture seems flatter and less curvy than the bottom. I think CIG is messing with us. So much so that they even added the 615G in the bottom right to give the appearance that this is the "top" of the ship but I'm not buying it. Anyone else have thoughts that may be beer driven?

CIG has stated previously there will be some ships that can float. Looking at the original image in your post above, if it is genuine, this ship may have a hull that can land on water with no ill effects. Intakes high on the body, what looks like a cockpit canopy perched on the very top of what we can only assume is the front with a mystery block behind it which could be a splash guard for the entrance/intake on the hump at the back, an otherwise flat deck...?

Gawd, who knows? Only a few days to go.

This and the price points to a Connie sized ship with long range and possibly exploration possibilities.

I am not sure if this is a Phoenix competitor, but it might be an Aquila competitor, or a hybrid between the Aquila/Phoenix in terms of functions.

Now I am going to go completely off the deep end into speculation.

As many know, the Connie got a MASSIVE nerf in terms of speed and combat ability during/between the 2.5/2.6 patch series. Many people were extremely upset about this.

We also know that the Aquila will be flight ready in 3.0, but the Phoenix not until 3.3. Furthermore, there are a lot of people who think the Phoenix is...well, a walking porn set. Seriously, I can see a Hef-esque type of person sitting in a smoking jacket watching some ladies frolic in the hot tub. That said, the Phoenix is also an armored car with a stronger hull than the Andromeda and a point defense system to boot.

I can certainly see a longer range ship with exploration capabilities with the same type of pimp-mobile style and less combat capability. However, in exchange for the big guns on the Connies, I see S2/S3 gimble platforms and bigger/faster engines. Shields a bit less than the Connie, maybe armor too, but more of a speedster...able to keep up wtih or even outrun hornets and Sabres. The pure lux version will not be a long range with the same sensors, but maybe more pimped out on the interior.
