STAR CITIZEN is holding a casting call for CitizenCon 2947 attendees who wish to have their face appear in game!

We pledged to take our facial capture system on the road and head scan select fans during special events. CitizenCon 2947’s expanded format provides the ideal location to do just that. If you’ve ever dreamed of seeing an NPC version of yourself in Levski, or of exploring a derelict ship only to discover your likeness frozen by the vacuum of space, then this is your chance to contribute to the game in a truly unique way.

The head scanning process takes approximately 30 minutes and requires the talent to meet ALL of the criteria below. We are casting 10 CitizenCon attendees prior to the event to ensure the process proceeds smoothly on the day. Please read the following details very carefully and make sure you meet all the requirements prior to completing your submission.

DESCRIPTION

Looking for ‘Star’ Citizens interested in becoming a part of our universe.

Seeking a diverse range of talent, any gender or ethnicity. Talent will be booked from photos and a brief essay explaining why YOU should appear in game. No auditions will be held. No prior head scanning experience necessary.

KEY DETAILS

  • Must be 18+
  • Must be clean shaven.
  • Must be able to stay still for several minutes.
  • Must be willing to withstand LOTS of camera flashes.
  • Must be willing and able to cover your hair with a plastic wig-cap.
  • Must already be attending CitizenCon 2947 in Frankfurt, Germany on 27 October, 2017.
  • Must be willing to wear a specific top/t-shirt that we will provide. A changing room will be available.
  • Must make yourself available for at least 60 minutes anytime between 15:30 and 20:30 CEST during CitizenCon 2947.
  • Must sign an image release. This legal agreement allows CIG to use your likeness in the production of the game.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

If you meet ALL of the above criteria, then follow the submission guidelines below for your chance to have your head scanned into the Star Citizen universe.

All submissions must be sent to [email protected]with the subject Head Scan. Entries must be received before 10PM UTC, Tuesday, 17 October 2017, and contain the following:

  • Your legal name
  • Your T-shirt size
  • Your Star Citizen handle
  • A photo/headshot taken within the last six months that clearly shows your face.
  • A brief, creative reason why YOU should appear in game. Please keep length to 100 words or less.
Those selected will be informed via email by 10PM UTC, Friday, 20 October 2017, so details can be finalized.

DAMN IT! I could never get to Germany this year... especially now.. which I'd really want to go just for this even.
Though I read somewhere that you can call and inquire about going to one of their studios to get scanned to be an NPC.
If LA is one of those studios... has Montoya done this already?
Cuz I can only imagine all the crazy videos to be done of abducting / protecting our glorious leader

Having worked with people who have careers in show biz, I promise yall don't need to look like Gal Gadot to be either in a movie or a video game. I've been told it's more important to look interesting as a person. If Steve Buscemi can be given a shot, why can't you? Just saying, I wouldn't mind your mugs in SC even if you looked like
