I had the same issue. Uninstalling and reinstalling the launcher fixed this for me!
Thanks, will do!

Well, I'll probably be horribly hungover then, but I will attempt to make it.

Crap, RL came in between. Today we left home at 18:15, my wife mentioned that the movie would start at 18:20...:fearful::rocket: When she checked, there were only 2 seats left, no room for the kids, so tomorrow at 16:00 UTC we are going with the kids to a movie. No dirt rally for me :unamused:

server change from EU to US does not affect the fps and ping too much
I checked today the difference in FPS for US, EU and AUS at 14:00 UTC. Not a lot difference. max 30 FPS, min 20 FPS. I think that it depends more on how crazy an instance is (everybody spawning a Starfarer) then on geographic location.

We should also coordinate a Discord chat...I was thinking that if a couple of us joined different regions, we could find out who is getting the best frames, and then all join that server...that might be "overthinking" things, but it may help...

We are also going to need someone who knows where the wreck is to drop off a ship so we can have a nav marker - much harder to find it than i expected in flight (I didn't find it).

Hopefully someone can help or it will just be an offroad jamboree.

Munken tried to guide a bunch of TESTies to the wreck. There are 2 orientation points. Fly away from the first orientation point until you are at the correct distance, then fly at an angle of 90 degrees from the first orientation point, away from the second orientation point until both distances are correct. Unfortunately it was on the dark side, so we aborted.

We are getting a new cooktop installed today so I may be in and out a little, about to remove the old one (WifeyGimp informed me yesterday....).

I'll be online shortly before 0800 PDT / 1500 UTC (about an hour) - we'll meet in Discord first.

Wow - 3 hours of gameplay before a 10002 dropped everybody.

We had lost and found, rejoins from micro-crashes, and I learned a LOT to include in planning for the next time.

Combined air and ground ops was a huge blast - we had a glitchy Ursa that kept killing people so we ended up setting out with an Ursa, a Yellowjacket, and top cover from a Cutty Black, a Superhornet and a Sabre initially, with a Buccaneer joining later.

Before the sun set I took some shots, see below. O2 does NOT replenish in the Ursa so we had to grab a Connie for support/transport and the game crashed as we were about to reach our first turn point, so need to find a better air/land navigation mechanism, dead-reckoning and triangulation was pretty tough, plus the day/night cycle adds another level of complexity.

I sure as hell had fun and hope others did too.

Took the Yellowjacket back to ArcCorp to grab the Connie since progress was painfully slow - lots of ships

I found a report (actually 2), and a good workaround: "first u have to sit on a chair in the rover... so the rover is activatet and he know somebody is in. then stand up and u can enter the cockpit." I'll try that next time I'm at Levski

Added names to my contacts. Now I have some more to look for online

Got it.

Exactly. The more items the server has to keep track of, the more it works. Starfarer has a lot more items than a Gladius or Freelancer.

Well I don't feel so bad now. No matter what time of day I'm on, the wreck are is under dark skies for me too. I though I found it when it was still PTU, but game crashed as I approached. Go figure.
