So I get occasional ideas for fun videos for TEST propoganda...
I am currently looking for a cover band to re-record a parody kind of version of
Premise something like "We built this verse, on alcohol"

If you have any ideas to contribute for lyrics and in game engine shots or scenes that we can currently do in game, would be really awesome!
Film is collaborative.. so... if any takers out there, let's collaborate to make something fun!

Suggestion:
If you're going to try and hire a cover band, you might be able to find a karaoke track for cheaper.

Another suggestion:
Change "Montoya plays the mamba" to "Montoya dances the samba (or salsa, or conga, or something else that fits)" and we'll all have to bully him into donating a video clip of him doing the dance for the sake of TEST propaganda.

Montoya ....... ??? about 7 syllables total

Another route
Montoya's on the microphone ?? ... kinda works because the phonetic (is that what it's called? lol) at the end.. but not perfect.
To sound good, have to play with the words till it fits.

P.S. I found someone for a very reasonable price to do a legit recording so it sounds good.
The covers they do sound pretty damn good.

Syllables are easy to flub to fit into a cadence. The original song does it a few times, I think. Band shouldn't have much trouble making things fit.

"Microphone" works too, but if you're going to go as far as hiring a band, you might want to make a video for the song too. @Montoya dancing will add a low brow comedic... err... I mean, high brow sophisticated element.

Another suggestion, find some audio clips from SOTS episodes or something to replace the DJ talking about traffic.

This is a brilliant idea.
It wouldn't be too hard to do a parody video, either. Get a couple clips of people playing the guitar or 'singing' or drinking beer, make the background something Star Citizen-y, edit em in somewhat similar to the original vid, add in spaceships instead of anything too complicated, sync it with the music, and boom, music video. Sure, it'd probably take several hours (or days, depending on how drunk you are/how much you know about video editing) but it wouldn't be insanely difficult either.
