True fact: "The Moon is a Harsh Mistress" was on my high school summer reading list, ages ago. Yes, I was all over that in a heart beat. Great book by the way, I would have voted for it if I hadn't already read it about 10 times! If you have never read it before, you really should...

Actually Son of Svengoolie was Jerry G Bishop. I always had to have a box of Screaming Yellow Zonkers to munch on during while watching his show. My oldest sister was the only one who got the joke.
And Ray Rayner in the morning before shipping of to school.
Man, those were the days.

Was always shortened to svengoolie for me, but I never saw the original. But I lived way north so channel 32 was a little iffy

Got better reception from Milwaukee so that is where I watched robotech on channel 24
