I'm a Senior IT Project Manager, since 1997. My life has been spent in Technology, but not programmed since my Army Days (Encryption Programmer/Analyst during Desert Shield/Storm). I recently took a role with the Dept of Treasury/IRS. I am kind of planning on staying there for awhile, but that doesn't mean I can't learn new and exciting things.

Or watch porn all week.
Awesome!!! I'm on my journey to be a full stack developer . Took a boot camp like 2 years ago and been juggling family and studying as much as i can now i'm interviewing at software company's as i'm finishing up my portfolio. That being said i really want to get into machine learning myself specially after Chris said we only have 4 AI programmers and need more i'd like to try that out.

I read an article talking about how all the AI devs are being taken by google, IBM, UBER, APPLE, AMAZON, and Silicon Valley to the point there is a massive shortage for all company's due to driving cars and AI and these company are paying entry level no college degree 250k-350k a year and collage grads 600k+. Company's are all about "Can you do it?" now.

Anyway have 20 courses on udemy myself i've been using to build projects and suggest it also. I wish you the best in your journey and when doors close others open right?

lol porn is a ghost that huants me.

Yeah well, "according to nine people" who are all anonymous, is not an industry trend.

I have no doubt some people command these kinds of salaries, but kids out of high school, I don't think so. Surely it is a market economy, and Silicon Valley can pay any particular individual whatever they like for a project they have in mind. That's not an industry wide trend.

But yeah, with the hardward now so capable, there is going to be a rush for this. I have an AI project myself, but it is not top shelf priority right now.

but the fact that in this world if you want it go get it that this is an option. 10 years ago this would be a joke right?...
I get this - My degree is in Media Production and I definitely don't work in that field.

If you are good at something you don't need a piece of paper to do it and inversely if you are really good at something having a piece of paper to prove it doesn't necessarily mean you'll get to, either.

I want to be able to pin this thread for motivation and refer back to it every time the kids are at childcare, or at their grandparent’s over the school holidays.

Business delivery, B2B ERP integrations here. Strong interest in automation.

Well, I was going to suggest wanking. Ejaculating at least 21 times a month reduces your risk of prostate cancer by roughly 20%. (But ejaculating 100 times a month doesn't reduce it by 100%)
