Nice! I've been eying them for a while now. I think I'm going to wait though. I really want to see what happens with this new flight model. More specifically, if they are going to continue down this IM road. I won't be investing heavily into dual sticks (past my current two tm's) until I know that it won't cripple me in a dogfight vs a m&k user with gimbals and IM mode.

It's a nice joystick, I've got one of the warbrd bases with a mongoosLH (left hand). I picked it up because it was harder to find a reliable left hand warthog to match the one I was using in my RH. It has excellent motion, tracking and the base is nice and heavy and stable.

It has the best review I can give it: I don't regret making this purchase.

The key to buying these is, if you see a post telling you they are back in stock dont bother clicking it, because they will be sold out.

Items stayed in stock for a good time. Throttle sold out after 2 hours which I thought would actually sell out quicker.
If you see a post like this when it is fresh (Anything between an hour), you would have no problem buying anything.
Good stuff sells

*key to buying these is be informed, I soley posted this thread for anyone who forgot or was waiting too.

I'm planning on getting one of the throttles, but I'm not in any sort of rush.

Next Restock
Date:
21st January 2019
Time: ~6pm GMT
And this time I set an alarm.

It was kind off funny, I got a Discord message that someone bought 2 of them...... Check the site on phone.... yeah, still available. When I got back behind my office PC, the WarBRD was out of stock.

I Bought 2 of each, and the website was so slow i was praying that the site wouldn't crash. Now just waiting on my delivery, can't wait to test these babies out.
So what is all the hype about? Because they dont make a lot of them?

Are these really as great as everyone says?
Me as a dual Warthog wielder... I grinded and regreased both bases, replaced the O-rings, replaced the 4 counter springs to almost eliminating center detend, but still feel that there is a lot room for improvement. The Warthog grips are just great, I wouldn't want to miss them. The Warthog base is a different story.

It is nice that you can use your TM warthog grip on the virpil WarBrd base

Main reason is they make quality product gimbal with metal interior and its adjustable, as for the throttle of thrustmaster WH, the outside case might be metal, but the inside componants are plastic.

Virpil sticks are high quality plastic and light. (This could be a con for some people instead of a pro)

The scarcety of Virpil product line is they are a relativly new company of 2years old as far as I can tell, so the demand is high, they are trying to meet demand and upping their factory equipment going forward.

If you wish to buy virpil I reccomend to buy within 2 hours of the restock time window, to have success

Good explanation. I'm not looking to buy sticks or anything anytime soon, just curious as to why these are popular.

I'm waiting on VB to release for sale the new Kosmosima's they have, but here is a question for you guys :
Would having left hand stick with TWIST and right hand stick without twist work well ? Anyone tried it like this and know ?
