Yes we know.

We’re never going to forget the Instagram posts of you doing yoga in your influencer’s Lululemon gear.

That wasn’t camel toe. I don’t know what it was, frogs eyes perhaps? I still wake up screaming.

I feel like with the gimbal assist and the new flight rework I have hope that I can possibly get in there and learn to enjoy combat

Why have guided missiles? Why have a gimbal? Why have a space ship? Why should we exist? We can build a spaceship but not a tracking gimbal or guided missiles? Our destroyers in 2019 have tracking gimbals! Ahhhh... how I miss it all the fuss. Crybabies... blah blah blah... I'll check back in, in 6 months.

Like tbagging is consensual.
What I never got was why developers didn't just put in a "Press X to stab upwards" while a player was waiting to respawn, or "Press X to detonate remaining grenades" or something. It'd make a battlefield much more dynamic and introduce a risk to tea-bagging that just hasn't been there before.

That'd reduce it right away and be wicked fun for any victim of someone demented enough to subject another player to that kind of carry on. Would be worth an achievement too, you could call it "Brew'd - dispatched a tea-bagger" or something or nothing.

This honestly is an amusing and creative idea. I'll make sure to pass it on to my designer friends.

Yes, 1000% yes! Is it a perfect solution? No, but it's pretty damn good. First, there is the issue of aimbots. No matter what CIG does, they WILL find their way into the game. They have been in every single shooting game since forever and anyone that thinks it won't be in SC as well is just in denial. What is the only way to prevent it? The only way is to give it to everyone in a controlled way that attempts to be balanced.

The second reason I am happy about this, is IM mode. No shooter has successfully created a world in which a K/M player is on even ground with someone that uses joysticks for aiming. That's why FPS games don't allow console to play with PC. It'd be a slaughter. The same mechanic plays out when one person flies with a joystick and the other with K/M in IM mode. One is using the joystick to move their crosshairs, and the other is just moving their mouse while the ship is on autofollow. The advantage is clear.

Unfortunately, as a player who vastly prefers flying by joystick, the only way I can enjoy the experience of flying is to take a huge disadvantage in a shootout. I'm not a terrible flyer, but when I tried IM mode, I instantly became a boss mob when compared to dual stick. I hated the feel of it though. I might as well be playing a modern warfare clone. The joy of losing yourself in vectors, inertia, and pulling maneuvers that are only possible in a world where there is no up, was gone. So for me and many others, it makes the least fun method of flying the meta.

Gimbal assist solves that issue. It makes it OK that IM exists. It allows players the ability to enjoy flying while still maintaining some competitive relevance. I agree it's not the perfect solution. Some people will hate that it exists. However, it is a reasonable way of "splitting the difference".

Best argument I've heard for gimbal assist yet, and there have been several good ones.

Isn't there a way for CIG to figure out if someone is using a banned 3rd party tweek like aimbots and the thing that lags the playr to gain an instant leap sort of advantage. . .I forget what it is called. anyone know what I'm talking about? Cheater tools.
