I personally don't have a clue at the moment, I only just figured out how to get around in New Babbage, and I'm still trying to land one of my ships in Lorville. My Mole seemed to decide it was allergic to the landing pad it was assigned, and I couldn't stop it. And why do the trains at Lorville flip around and run backwards?Would I be safe to assume that theaters of war never made it into 3.9?
I had the opposite experience with patrols, they kept bumping into me from behind. Thankfully it didn't count as ramming an officer or whatever...I personally don't have a clue at the moment, I only just figured out how to get around in New Babbage, and I'm still trying to land one of my ships in Lorville. I also got stopped and inspected by a security patrol that I could see on radar, but couldn't locate even the radar pip on the screen.
My friends list started working after I removed the User folder and let SC rebuild its self. But I have a feeling your mileage may vary. What's up with the friends list?
First time I logged in I could see a long list that I got on the website as well, even had a request from @Blind Owl and accepted it. Next time I logged in I got my old list of 4 people. Is this supposed to be totally broken as well?
They're working on it, but I think 4.0. Basically expect it to start out rough, then smooth out as players report issues.I had the opposite experience with patrols, they kept bumping into me from behind. Thankfully it didn't count as ramming an officer or whatever...
I guess lorville is pretty bugged then? I was about to go there but I'll try to avoid it if it's bad.
I had to do a full download and clean install this time cos I needed the space for work beforehand, so I guess the user folder is not the issue. I'll delete it anyways, maybe it clears it up.My friends list started working after I removed the User folder and let SC rebuild its self. But I have a feeling your mileage may vary.
And still has 30k issues, I wont be wasting what little time I have away from work dealing with server crashes 4-6 times a day which just since it went live I have had 4 30k's :(
I had such high hopes for 3.9.... alas the disappointments seem to be massing more and more lately. The game looks great, outside of that I see few improvements, they wanted to deliver a more stable and enjoyable live update and it fell on its face right out of the gate lol.
For me it's the most stable upon launch patch ever. Had way more crashes with 3.7 and 3.8. Strange how it's so different for others. I hope they fix it up soon so you can enjoy it too! They're working on it, but I think 4.0. Basically expect it to start out rough, then smooth out as players report issues.
I suppose yes, there is no evidence in the patch note or in the roadmap either... could be that ToW will became the chistmass present from CIG (since 4.2 is nott yet planneed...)Would I be safe to assume that theaters of war never made it into 3.9?
Security and scanner form the patrol mission are not targetable: they are neither enemy or friends so they appear in the radar but you can't lock them on: theyr icon is gray if you notice, not red or green...I also got stopped and inspected by a security patrol that I could see on radar, but couldn't locate even the radar pip on the screen.
It happen to me also, but only while in the Hurston space port (respawn in the right location but with the wrong loading screen), while wehn respawn in a R&R there is no loading at all.So far the annoyances are with death doesn't seem to respawn you anywhere the screen goes black and it puts the flavor text up of your location often wrong. The other frustration is if you die and have any crime stat you end up in prison.
You could target grey NPCs in previous patches, is it changed now?Security and scanner form the patrol mission are not targetable: they are neither enemy or friends so they appear in the radar but you can't lock them on: theyr icon is gray if you notice, not red or green...
New Babbage is some beautiful eh?I personally don't have a clue at the moment, I only just figured out how to get around in New Babbage, and I'm still trying to land one of my ships in Lorville. Hmmmmm, I'll have to look into that. What's up with the friends list?

My experience as well, in my limited time in game. For me it's the most stable upon launch patch ever. Had way more crashes with 3.7 and 3.8. Strange how it's so different for others. I hope they fix it up soon so you can enjoy it too!
Oh, right, I've never use that bind actually so I kind of forgot about it...You could target grey NPCs in previous patches, is it changed now?
You need to use 'select target under reticle' action.
I recommend try it ASAP!Oh, right, I've never use that bind actually so I kind of forgot about it...
Try 'select target under reticle during tomorrow's CFT, your life will be changed forever ;)Well in most case I need to search for the target becouse I dont' see it so I just scroll beteween the enemey by the MFD, in the remaining case I just go for it and when I'm close enough I hit "closer enemy"... so I never feel the necessity of that binding actually...
