Okay, I know it's Microsoft, but SERIOUSLY? Are they that out of touch with pop culture?
The chosen one will bring balance to the force...by killing off all but 2 jedi and 2 sith...
Thanos will bring balance to the universe by killing off half of all life.

So will Windows 11 bring balance to the PC world by bricking enough PCs so that there is an equal number of Windows, Linux, and iOS users?

Windows 'aint bringing nothin' to my desktop, its incompatible with 11 as it is from a generation before Ryzen came out and Ryzen (and there is a certain Intel CPU equivalent too) is the lowest gen CPU it will accept due to it not having a certain hardware security chip.

You can buy a sec chip and install it, I think it plugs into a pci slot or sumthin like that.

Btw, genuine question, why the hell would anyone switch over now when Win10 is still perfectly capable at everything, and much more rarely bricks your PC?

I think I was taking exception to the marketing message rather than the OS.

I have nothing against Microsoft I was one of the rare people to actually buy Win10 for my handbuilt as it was the only OS which would run SC at this point - but when the ad says it's bringing balance to something I own, it's not bringing anything of the sort to mine :-)

I am aware of the PCI slot component however as far as I am aware it has to be specific to the make of Motherboard (manufacturer) so isn't exactly a novice addition... at that point I glazed over and knew I wasn't getting on board with the machine I have.
