I think I have a new favorite! It is smaller than what I expected, but that is good.

It's a fair question. The original idea of having players log out in other players ships to continue a play session later seems like something in the very distant past at this point.Im a fan of the vision they have for big ships, it sounds like fun, but Im not really sure about the long term viability of the fun factor of being on a big ship for extended periods of time.
I agree. Outside the few times I have found myself hauling as much as I still love the Carrack, I tend to find myself flying around in the Intrepid. Yes, it sucks to do a corpse run when a glitch or lag sends you back to the medical facility, but it's generally not a very long flight back. As for the Perseus, it's an ok ship, until they fix turrets. Would still like to see how it does in combat with a crew of 3 against large and capital-class ships. It's a fair question. As to ship sizes.. Running around with a small crew in the Polaris has proven that it's a great base of operations, really flexible for anything OTHER than Capital level combat. But there is a huge question about how much work Engineering gameplay is going to create.. how much of a timesink will it be in a game session?
I'm favoring ships with a medium quantum drive these days, even with the limitations that places.
