You could use your old GT220 to do all PhysX process if you plug it in the second PCI-Express port :)
We gave all our old stuff to a friend, he's a school teacher and run the school's computer club. They have old shitty machines, the school doesn't give them any money. my C2D 8400 with a GTX660 will be their new supercomputer XD

The CPU fan is obscenely huge. The was one reason I went with watercooling, it has a much smaller footprint on the MB. My last setup, I had the RAM slot blocked just like you.

I hesitated to go full watercooling, but we had a limited budget, and we were already above it. Maybe I'll do it next year, don't know yet.

I used to run with this BeQuiet

It was awesome until it broke. When idling it would spin down to almost stop, my mobo would panic and show alarms for cpu fan, haha. Temp would drop to 20c sometimes. I now have the Corsair H80 and it does not do as well. Dual fans on the rad are much louder and the cooling is lesser. Still happy, lots of space in the case and I always game with headphones on so sound is not an issue. Getcha overclock on with the Noctua!

I'm not going to overclock for now, don't feel the need to. I just like to know that my core are at a nice temperature, I'm quite paranoid when it gets to cpu t°, that's why I monitor it on my kboard.

the noctua is very quiet, the only noise my computer makes now is made by the 8 years old case fans, and I have 3 of these.

they works fine, originally they were silent, but now they're starting to make a little weeeeeeeeeeee. I can always replace them, that's a cheap thing.

I watercooled literally for the sake of it. It cost more than aircooling and is less efficent and louder. but it looks awesome. Sound isn't really an issue for me because I have a fridge running in my room anyway. Not sure if I'll do it again in the next build, maybe if I spend a lot and get some high quality gear.

Yeh I kinda feel like I did that too. And I'm not sorry! I will be purchasing closed loop 980ti as soon as I can (or will wait for new tech but really like the watercooled gfx ting).

This is my 2 year old baby. His name is GameboyAdvanced. I've spent many nights super tuning and tweaking my monster. Enjoy!

You bought a braided set of wires from evga (the sleaving I mean) and the old swifttech bunk has anodized chrome, oh good lord - spend some time and money on a better computer work area/desk though too ! Thats like $200 that could have been spent on ships!
