I hasn't followed dev talk for a while, and i have hangar full of fighter ships (it seems i have some obsession with aegis ships), but what happened to banu MM?
HULL-D: Cargo Capacity:20736, 300$
HULL-E: Cargo Capacity:98304, 550$
Banu MM: Cargo Capacity:5018, 250$
This kinda makes MM obsolete. You will get MM, trade with it for a week or so, then jump to "slightly" more expensive ship which have *4 cargo capacity?
I understand that banu _may_ have some good firepower which makes it good for smuggling and flying around dangerous zones, but still...
(Just trying to decide which trading ship i should get (or probably upgrade from one of my fighters), and since i can't stand dedicated trading ships (if you played E:D and used Type-9 Heavy, you undestand why))

I believe the BMM is intended as an all around Trade Ship. It's intention (from my personal understanding) is to be a means of transporting goods, protecting those goods, and then hosting buyers in order to sell those goods all on the ship. The Hull's all look to me that they are just the Big Rigs of the verse. They haul huge amounts of cargo, but are relatively vulnerable and would require escorts to fight off pirates.
The BMM is also still In Concept so we have no real idea what it will have in terms of fire power. It does look like it is way more maneuverable and won't be a sitting duck should pirates attack.

I am still extremely new to all of SC but I do have a Drake Cat, Aegis Titan, and an Aurora LX. Not a fancy fleet but count me in.
I think the Hull's are supposed to be more in line of just transport ships and thats it. Where the merchantman is a little more open ended. Its a transport ship, flying bazaar, a home, and who knows what else. I see the BMM trading with anyone willing to come aboard and have a drink with the staggering drunk of a captain (aka ME), but I see it being the most useful for pirates as it gives them an outlet to get rid of their goods and not have to dock at some port.
when i get the chance id gladly partake in the shinanegans. Really looking forward to getting a Hull E

need bigger picture theres so many testies that we can mine, craft, ship, sell, who needs a contract
I plan on being some sort of Super Awesome Trader Guy. My Aurora CL probably won't be super helpful with that, but it does have more cargo space than other ships of similar caliber.
Might I recommend a Reliant when they become available again.

I am curious how the refueling will work with the Starfarer. I just saw 10FTC, and look forward to collecting fuel with the Starfarer. I plan on helping out the org, with fuel, when possible and double the price to other orgs and pirates. Hey, someone has to bring fuel to combat ops orgs and pirates. I will try to stay neutral with pirates, and trade with them and keep a decent rep with UEE. Last sale, I pick up the Starfarer and Hull B for logistic support. :rolleyes:
I'm interested in joining up, I have a Freelancer Max and a Hull C for cargo hauls. I also have a Redeemer and various fighter ships for escort.
Not sure whether the connie will be any use for cargo but I now have a hull B to add!

Recent update, I manageged to obtain a BMM and I'm betting the BMM will fit in just fine with the logistics corps since I haven't found a trader's coalition/corps. Are there any ideas on holding a monthly multi BMM bizarre where a bunch of BMM get together in a location to sell goods?

So whats the deal on legality of cargo? I can imagine there are times when us....uh....completely legitimate SAR players mysteriously find some cargo that may cargo that some would deem illegal, but don't want to bother shipping it to X selling point ourselves.
Ofc more than happy to pay extra for the trouble, just curious what some haulers opinions are on black market goods.
