Actually AWS servers are designed to do that. Cryengine, and the spinoff Lumberyard isn't.

The issue is that, while the servers are capable of doing the job, the software net code isn't. The game software needs to understand it can "push the button" and when it should "push the button."

The OP has a Carrack and a CCU from a 600i to an M2. Without a large outlay of money there is no C2 here. And that doesn't answer why you would want both a Carrack and an M2.

The image with all the downward facing guns is the A2 not the M2. The M2 has two fixed Size 4 facing forward and mounted on top, a turret with two size 3 mounted rear facing and high and a turret with two size 3 mounted forward and low. I haven't seen an image that shows where the third turret...

They haven't said what they originally promissed wasn't going to still work. Though we won't know until the cargo boxes actually work and are in game. And the clamp might move along the rails, or be part of the box.

According to the spec sheet, they also have 2 medium quantum fuel tanks. (Which should be only 2/3rds capacity of a large fuel tank.)

The Carrack is designed to land in areas where there has never been civilization. So rough field landing in no big deal. With the bottom and side turrets it should also be very good at clearing landing zones.

With the addition of point defense blades a Carrack that is just hauling cargo can get by with a crew of 2.

IIRC all three will. I was comparing the M2 to a Carrack, which the OP also has.

The ability to carry a Tonk or Ballista, is the only real advantage an M2 has, especially if the range is short as implied. Given your response, I recommend sitting tight, especially if the CCU is in your hangar. Then the price won't go up when the M2 is released.

just a quick addition. The Carrack and 600i are also modular. The Carrack modules are likely to be as versatile as the Cat, and the the 600i less so.
