It isn't a gun boat. The Lancaster Bomber had 30 caliber machineguns. 10 30 caliber machine guns were carried, max. In later models the rear quad mount was replaced, sometimes, with a pair of 50 cals. And the belly turret was generally removed. The B-17 carried (G model) 13 50 cal machineguns...

I have given up on landing at Loreville. Now I land near one of the gates and walk in. I then claim the ship that is outside, spawn one of my more stable ships, usually the Vanguard, power it up, let them open the ceiling, go straight up. Once I clear the doors, I raise the gear and wait for the...

The Tali has the same computers as the Hammerhead. They said no more than 4 automated turrets on the Hammerhead in the Hammerhead q&a. So the Tali could have 4 out of 5 turrets automated, so a Tali runs with a crew of 2 or 3. That doesn't change with the latest video. My issues with the Tali...

Whose idea was it to land in silos and tunnels anyway?

Probably because landing at Loreville is such a PITA with the hover mechanics.

What did you hear that makes the Tali less useful?

I love my Tali. It is the ship that got me to get the game. :) It is also my endgame Bounty Hunter ship, well, at least that is the plan. :) It just doesn't have much use now.

I already have a Vanguard. :) The MIS and the Andromeda were the ships I was most looking at. I thought the Mercury might also be an interesting choice. (Freelancer loaner) The Andromeda, from that list, should, maneuver most like the Tali, while actually being useful. You gave me a couple...

    Coming anniversary sale.

Right now my fleet is an Avenger Titan, a Gladius, a Sentinel with a Warden BUK and a Retaliator base. I know I want the Torp bays for the Tali as well as some modules once they become available, but short term the Tali is just hangar art. So the plan during the sale was to upgrade to the...

    What’s the BEST Multi-Role Ship?

Avenger to start. Especially once you can add prisoner pods, and possibly the Warlock module. My "daily driver" is likely to be the Vanguard. Bigger, multi-crew, once it has modules and blades are a thing, I am partial to the Retaliator, but that may change as balance changes.

Ugh! What happened to my Sentinel?

So you have a drinking problem, because you never got over Macho Grande?

Ugh! What happened to my Sentinel?

That is generally referred to as recycling.

Ugh! What happened to my Sentinel?

I can only hope that is not the direction they are headed. I didn't say they are final, but the blue and yellow is still ugly.

Ugh! What happened to my Sentinel?

That doesn't make them pretty. :D

Ugh! What happened to my Sentinel?

So you think they will put lipstick on a pig?

Ugh! What happened to my Sentinel?

Battleship gray or Dazzle Camo. https://images.app.goo.gl/XnV5TRpiXHUVtMRv7

Ugh! What happened to my Sentinel?

My Sentinel was, at least close, Test Squadron colors. The previewed colors we now have are just ugly.

Guess the Aegis ship going to be announced in Frankfurt Aug 24th

A good portion of the year that point is in the star. Also both planets have moons and lagrange points, full of crap, which will interpose more often. And that presumes you are only going one orbit, Earth to Venus or Earth to Mars. Venus to Jupiter or Saturn gets really messy. In general...

Guess the Aegis ship going to be announced in Frankfurt Aug 24th

Space is vast. Everything is moving. At interplanetary, much less interstellar distances, travel lanes are impossibly large. While you might be able to mine minute areas to protect a specific target, a dedicated ship for that seems rather wasteful.
