The Overall ship length is 122 meters. The main deck is less than that because of the ramp design. 32 + 32 + 17 + door + walkways, plus some of the front ramp. Close. The front pad was never an XS pad, it is an XXS Pad. So it is 2 XS pads on top and an XXS pad on the front. The Liberator does...

    RSI Hermes is out!

Watching your video Boss, the Connie is Size 4, the Hermes is size 5. (I believe the Tali is the biggest size 4 ship.) Both Size 4 and 5 are classed as "Large." For those that are newer Size 1 is snubs Size 2 is small (Most fighters and single seaters) Size 3 is medium (Vanguard and...

The Interior pads are vehicle not ship pads. There is space on either side of the medium vehicle pads, that doesn't make them XS ship pads. (The roof is definitely too low for ship pads.) The front pad is an XXS Pad, which my understanding is 12 x 16-17 x 6 m The top pads are XS pads which are...

    Pocket Carrier 3.0

Since Jump points all accommodate all sizes of ships, there isn't any place a Liberator can go that an Idris or Kraken can't go. The Liberator has 2 XS Pads, 1 XXS/medium vehicle pad and 2, internal, medium vehicle pads. It doesn't have 4 XS pads. XXS Pad or medium vehicle pad is for a...

    RSI Hermes is out!

Since I have an Asgard, I don't see the point. Like most RSI ships, to me, it looks ugly. I suppose it is nice to have the built in tractor beam.

    RSI Hermes is out!

It is supposed to be when a shield goes down another snaps on. I'm not sure if this is the actual mechanic or if their HP are there anyway. No practical difference, either way. Regen is much slower though.

    RSI Hermes is out!

Shields are fixed in the 4.6 PTU. My Redeemer, Retaliator, Asgard and Super Hornet Mk II all take longer to recharge but all have all their shields counting to the pool.

This is, AFAIK, the current chest body armor. (There are other, additional, pieces.) The slots in it are so you can hang standard accessory clips (from the old LBE, I showed first) on it where you want them. So are the bands at the bottom of the shoulder straps. This is definitely newer than the...

Things are carried on the front for fast access. for example the med pouch is carried to open down, not like on the image, where it opens up, because seconds matter. Ammo, grenades, first air, knives, etc. are things you need now, so are carried on the front. On newer kits, three mags are...

I heard his reasons, with full combat load, I can't agree. Too much stuff you, basically, have to carry, gets in the way of that reload, and that presumes you aren't also carrying a spare barrel for the machinegun, an AT4, a stiletto (drone, not blade), or similar extra gear. And remember body...

Just a quick illustration. This is the load bearing equipment I wore when I first went in. Notice even with most of what you are carrying concentrated at the belt line the pack straps, the straps on this, and the flashlight can interfere with the reloading motion close to the body. Note the...

The .308 is already in the inventory, is already mass produced and isn't proprietary. The .308 has an effective range of 1000+ M so meets the specification. It also punches through the side armor of light armored vehicles so body armor isn't an issue. It has lots of proven platforms...

My recommendation is to spend a couple of days on the range before buying one. Remember, the difference between you, as a hunter, sneaking and a grunt sneaking, is the amount of gear grunts have to carry. Reloading at further from the body is easier, due to gear. That even applies to a pump...

The issue isn't shooting through body armor. That can be accomplished by changing current bullet in the 5.56mm. The issue is range. That is why the new ammo. I, honestly, don't think range of more than 500m is useful in an Infantry rifle. That is why the assault rifle was born in the first...

Shooting is fun. I've been shooting since I was 7. I also served in the US Army. While I was in the Army, I usually had some choices as to what I was going to personally carry, or use. (Not as many choices as Special Forces, but choices.) I qualified expert on the M-16 (A1 and A2), M-60, M-240...

The US military has been looking at bullpups for 50 years, if not longer. The Advanced Rifle Concept had 2 bullpups out of 4 entries (And one of the 4 was just an M-16A2 with an ugly foregrip and a Scope on it). One bullpup sniper rifle was very highly pushed. They even went so far as to get...

The trigger, on a bullpen is in front of the action. On a normal rifle and most pistols it is right at the action. To work a bullpup has mechanical linkage between the trigger assembly and the action. In a traditional firearm the trigger is the hammer release. No linkage required. The linkage...

Which military used firearms do they not apply to? You can't fix the trigger, there has to be linkage since the trigger is in front of the receiver. You can't make the weapon instantly ambidextrous without severely complicating the firing mechanism and using forward ejection. Adding to...

The Israelis only deployed the Tavor in limited quantities, and are going away from it. The Aussies are looking for a new rifle now, too. They are early in their process and may go with a bullpup for their next generation. It hasn't been decided.
