I don't really have a starter but I still don't see a reason for one.

Max 24 on the original Polaris sales page: https://robertsspaceindustries.com/comm-link/transmission/15546-The-2946-RSI-Polaris The Brochure linked from that page says 13 to 24. Everything since says 6-17. The Polaris brochure shows 6 bunk beds and two additional beds are listed in the Q&A...

The Liberator has a max crew of 2. The front pad is XXS so an Eclipse, which is on the large size for an XS pad is unlikely to fit, that means only 2 Eclipses. The Liberator is not a combat craft, it is a hauler. While you can launch in combat scenarios that is not ideal use. If you can squeeze...

The Polaris has, according to the brochure and pictures 6 bunks and 2 single berths and isn't supposed to be hot bunking. That gives you a full complement of 14. CIG lists the crew as 6-17. CIG has been quite clear the Idris is 8-28, and it has, in the neighborhood of two dozen beds. The...

True. Which is why I only have one ship with a crew size larger than 3, a Retaliator.

Everything I've seen says crew of 8 to 28. The bunk room, which is the same size as one of the Javelin's crew quarters, holds around 24. Given recent trends of starships, reducing crews, 28 is likely correct. 28 probably doesn't include the small marine complement. But 80 definitely seems way high.

Regarding carrying more fighters than pads, according to the rule "If it sits, it fits," there is a problem. Life support isn't likely to ba capable of handling the pilots, much less the ground crew for each of the fighters. With what they have shown us of Fighters on the Idris, it looks like a...

With CIG's ideal weapon ranges the Hammerhead is pretty useless. It basically has to be docked to what it is defending.

    Zeus II

I recall the Dire Hawk and the Shadow Hawk. That doesn't mean we'll get them. As for "ship of this size" there are quite a few people that, intentionally take bigger ships, like the Connie and 600i into combat. The Retaliator, Hammerhead, Persesus and Polaris are designed to be taken into...

    Zeus II

I figure that while the flight model is changing, and should increase the differences when that happens, the relative comparison should stay the same. The Q&A specifically says the Zeus II should be less agile than the Spirit. The comparison between the Blue and the Spirit, should give an...

    Zeus II

I see the MR and Blue being in the same tier, like the Hawk and Stalker are both Bounty Starters. My guess is the next tier is likely to be Connie/Tali size (both are mentioned as bounty hunting ships.)

    Zeus II

CIG has also been clear they want multiple ships in the same space doing the same job. I don't really see the MR and Blue in different tiers for Bounty Hunting. More like here is two different ways to take the same target. One doesn't clearly outshine the other. Like the Stalker vs. the Hawk...

    Zeus II

The Hawks (my wife and I each have one) definitely stay. We each also have a Blue and a CCU from Blue to MR. Most of our ships are paired so we fly with a wingman. I have a Liberator making it so the Hawks aren't really range limited. If the MR can't run things down and stay with them, it...

    Zeus II

Erkul says the Blue has better Pitch and Yaw but the Spirit has better roll. Since Pitch and Yaw are equal the only need for roll is to change the direction of "up" for use of the main thrusters to strafe up. I thought the Blue was supposed to have better forward acceleration than it does...

Star Citizen Zeus questions and answers

The Q&A says the Spirit is supposed to fly better than the Zeus. Does anyone know how well the Spirit flies compared to the Cutlass Blue?
