I just saw a video about the new jump points, apparently in the latest patch they "activated" the stations and you can do pretty much full services at them now. Should open up a lot more areas to fly your shiny new Hull C to and from.

I am kind of surprised they are not using a system like that already, seems like most MMOs already do. If they are, in fact, running the game on the servers and the info is being "live streamed" to us as we play, no wonder the game is laggy and buggy (server wise).
