Well... I haven't seen Montoya on for a while and the Polaris thing seems to be rather close. So, two questions: 1. Have you seen him online recently? 2. Assuming he comes on late like a bloody Diva (i.E. shortly before the Polaris sale ends), don't you think it would make sense to melt...

It has 7 stations, afaik the "min crew" is 13 or so.

Even if you'd own a Polaris, you'd most likely be unable to use it continously at the start, since it'll most likely cost more than it earns - or at least require quite some funds upfront to run.

Not really... a pocket carrier would mostly fit the Idris. The Polaris is more like bringing a Helicopter or Seaplane (WWII) along.

Keep in mind that you can also earn it ingame someday. It's not a "must buy" situation of any sort.

Yeah.. I mentioned it on the RSI forums as well, the Design looks more like a Designer making something to look somewhat good, rather than a purpose-build military vessel. I'm no fan of torpedos anyway, so I won't comment on them too much... what I really find stupid is the way turrets are...

Looking at the RSI Forums, everyone gets salty - as usual. It's hard to give you advice with Ships, since you've got a weird taste... but I think it's more of a org ship than one for a person to own. Org wise you'd see it as a upside to have people working together in it, but for someone...
