This is Notepad in win10 See the Big red arrow , that's where you change the ENCODE you must do this or it will be a standard txt file and SC will laugh an tell yer too fuck off . Change it , then save it as User.cfg and your done , just drop it into the Live folder . that's it .

I did the same thing a while back , then I simply cut an pasted the whole CIG Folder onto the SSD , deleted the Launcher , redownloaded the launcher and pointed the installer at the CIG Folder in the SSD . Done , saves on a huge download as you only need the launcher download .

Use Notepad , when you have written your User file , save it as User.cfg , you must use the Encode UTF-8 in Notepad , then just drop the saved cfg in your Live folder in SC
