Your 315 will be fully soloable/usable as a starter ship when the game is live, plus it can pretty much all the starter roles better than most of the starters.. You would do best to save both the 315 as your "Starter" and the money you were planning to spend for a non-starter role/upgrade you...

Hmm, I wonder if usage will be tracked somewhere on ship in the PU...lol. Probably not becasue like cars, people would associate less reliability to a ship with high usage, even though its been taken care of.

It depends on what large ship you're talking about, the hammerhead? Yes, it has fast guns and is made for fighting smaller ships. If we are talking about 1 Perseus vs 3 Ares, I would have to give the win to the Ares. Not only did they confirm that the Perseus' large turrets will be slower in...

But its harder for large ships to hit smaller ones, the smaller ships wouldnt(shouldnt?) be all packed in together infront of the large ship's turrets.

Maybe its just me but I come away from that thinking that 3 x Ares > 1 Perseus. -Flying an Ares solo would be funner (to me) -Flying as part of an Ares squad would be more efficient(I assume)

So ugly I bet the in-game running costs are gonna be doubled...

Wasnt this pic from when it was 100m and not 160????? All it would take would be to dedicate the lower belly of the ship to cargo storage and/or modules. Theres also nothing stopping them from dropping the belly out or widening it a bit.
