What should a starter ship flight test cover?

Once you can load cargo boxes from the ground, the F7C should be able to do box missions. I, personally, wouldn't recommend a Cutlass Black. It is too much expensive starter, not enough profession ship. It doesn't really do anything well. I felt that way before it became a brick. I have a...

What should a starter ship flight test cover?

I like it. I personally prefer light or medium armor. They let you move faster, but I can see the point in heavy. The downside is none of the 300 series comes with a game package anymore.

What should a starter ship flight test cover?

The downside of rental is you can't modify them. The upside is they start stock. Progression with a ship is an interesting thing to show, but with most of the starters there isn't much point in upgrading them.

What should a starter ship flight test cover?

I have tried the Connie several times, but I really couldn't get into it. I get it, about the Nomad. :) The only ships that can actually, currently, do all the starter missions are the 100i and Avenger Titan. The one thing that you didn't have on your list, that you can do in most of the...

What should a starter ship flight test cover?

Unfortunately that doesn't age well. :)

What should a starter ship flight test cover?

Group 1 and group 2 all are available with game packages. The Arrow and Hornet are solo ships, that come with a game package and are relatively inexpensive. They, unlike the rest of Group 1, are specialized, fighters so also fit the definition of Group 3. Yes, their inclusion in both groups was...

What should a starter ship flight test cover?

And just for completeness, my "Starter ship" is a Hawk, and it is not my only ship. :)

What should a starter ship flight test cover?

Since I don't have just a starter ship, in fact I don't even have, except as a loaner, a group 1 or group 2 ship (see below) I am going to come at this from a slightly different perspective. There are three kinds of starter ships (strictly my opinion): The inexpensive (everything is relative)...

    Spartan Surprise

The Spartan is 9. The 2 Ursas is 12 but if you run 3 man dismount teams, 10. 3 Cyclone TR or MT is 9. True enough about cargo capacity. A squad isn't generally used to transport cargo. A raid, to scout an LZ, a patrol, etc. If the mission is transport something, the Ursa is the only one...

    Spartan Surprise

Personally, I prefer a Hoplite to a Spartan, for the same reason. For ground vehicles I have a Dragonfly, but see no use for ground vehicles in the current game.

    Spartan Surprise

As a 97E (HUMINT Specialist) I spent lots of time with the MP's. They ran 9 man squads, 3 squads top a platoon, and with their Hummers, they were better armed than an infantry platoon on Bradleys. CIG said the MT was top heavy. I know that isn't a thing yet, but something to consider, which is...

    Spartan Surprise

Two Ursas also can fire on the move, and bound. You are now also taking a 6 man squad as a 4 man dismount team and a two man vehicle team. The Spartan, as a former 11B (National Guard) and 97E (active duty), I find mostly useless. It is too big to be practical, the turret is operated by the...

    Spartan Surprise

4×S1 guns hit harder than 2×S2. The two Ursas fit in spaces that a Spartan doesn't fit in. For example two Ursas fit in a Carrack, but one Spartan doesn't.

Like it or not, Firefly is returning.

The Mandalorian works because it is well written, the characters are developed properly and well acted, and it gives the fans what they want, in a familiar backdrop. It uses, instead of abuses, the rich lore of the franchise.

Like it or not, Firefly is returning.

Disney buys a property then waters it down and runs the same formula nonsense over and over. In the past Disney's best asset was talent acquisition. Actors and actresses that became household names got their start at Disney, like Julie Andrews and Kurt Russell. Picking the right big name for...

Disney has never had much imagination. I don't have much faith.

    Single Seat PVP Ship Rating

And just to be complete: 1. Never chase meta with cash. 2. While I believe the list, in my personal experience, is relatively accurate, it is just a snapshot of the situation in 3.15 and may or may not be the intent or final state of the flight combat changes begun in 3.14.

    Single Seat PVP Ship Rating

Well, for the ships I fly, I have to agree, for the most part, with the ranking It shows what a mess CIG did with balance beginning with 3.14. My Vanguard has a bitch of a time putting nose on target, but when it does look out. My Blue has become pretty useles even against AI. My Hawk is...
