Why don't you just get credit for them and get what you really want now? This was if you still want your Hurricane and 85x down the road, you can just use the buyback system to get them back.

I would like to see some sort of cultivation ship. Either one that is used for farming or one with some kind of production function. Or perhaps a ship that can remove resources like oil/gas/water/etc... from planets or asteroids.

is 340 confirmed? I know they said that it basically doubled but I am not sure if that's reflected on the ship matrix, or not as of yet.

That's okay because I wouldn't need to buy back for a while. What I want to do is just get a ton of ships in my buyback list so that if I'll want them later, I could just get then back from my list. I'd only buy my things back much later though.
