Just upgraded my Hull C into a Banu Merchantman! Affectionately naming her the Long Island.

I wanted concierge (damn peer pressure), so I grabbed a bunch of extra starter packs...

In related news, I have a bunch of starter packs available to TEST members at cost ($30)....see market place :D

My poor Reliant.

It's now a Gladius by way of the Archimedes.

I swore I wasn't going to spend anymore. My wallet keeps sitting there with that broken, abused look. I'm so ashamed, but I'm not even sorry.

P-72 Archimedes.
$30.
Has LTI.

Buy now, melt ships, CCU later, get LTI everything, ???, profit.

Meanwhile, at RSI...
Yeah, that's pretty much what I did. I melted all my non-LTI ships except for my Super Hornet (and one LTI I didn't want) for 4 Archimedes, a CCU to the Khartu-Al, and CCU to the Banu Merchantman. I was so sad that I missed out on those two originally and now I have 'em with LTI.

Now I'm just waiting for two irresistible CCU's to drop for something interesting that I don't already have for my remaining two Archimedes.

Nothing too shameful. I just got a Hull C. Brings my lineup to;
Vanguard - Combat/All purpose
Reclaimer - Salvage
Carrack - Explorer to FIND the salvage!
Orion - Love the thought of being a dedicated miner
Hull C - Shipping said salvage and ore :P

Really, I love the idea of being a "working guy" in game. Obviously, all the Citizens are retired military, I think I'd like to make my living as a dedicated Salvager and Miner. However, I'm grabbing the Carrack in case neither of those two professions are fun enough to keep me engaged. The Hull C is solid for shipping any good I might get or to do some Mercantile things if I get bored or the Corp needs something moved.

Finally, using the Vanguard as my puttering around ship. Two crew, modable, solid armor and long range. Perfect.

I'm on the verge of making a shameless purchase, but I'm undecided. So, should I melt a few ships to get a Connie Phoenix?
Well, it is pretty limited. IIRC, 5000 sold before, plus the 5000 now, so effectively you'd be one of less than 1% of Citizens to own one (over a million citizens, plus I have no doubt some people have more than 1 AND some people have melted theirs). Pretty ritzy. I do know they'll be available in game on release, I'm curious if they'll have the same limited feel then. Would be cool if they only produced them at the rate of 1% of the playerbase to keep it rare, so for every 100 new citizens, a new Phoenix gets made.

Probably won't happen though.

EDIT - Might as well buy one now, if you're melting non-limited ships, since you can keep it or ditch it after the redesign. Gives you a choice.

Okay, I'm done.
Avenger w/Warlock mod
Herald
Vanguard w/Harbinger BUK
Super Hornet
Hull B and C w/LTI for both(CCUs from P-72s)
A P-72 for weekends
Mustang Beta for tailgating
I was initially seduced by the Reclaimer, but pulled back at the last minute. I want some more logistical experience and I want to build a reputation as a reliable and cost effective transporter(stop laughing), then I will branch out into something industrial with in-game money. I also have a Connie and a Freelancer DUR to do some exploration on the side. Hoping this will keep me in ramen noodles and Pabst Blue Ribbon. Happy Thanksgiving!

After much CCU'ing,. and spending a little more then I orginally planned, heh. I will justify it in my head by telling myself it is a early holiday gift.

These are the ships I added to my current fleet.

- LTI Crucible
- LTI Reclaimer
- LTI Starfarer
- LTI Reliant
- LTI Freelancer MIS
- LTI Herald

Welp, its time to lay off spending on Star Citizen for several months looks like I hit my limit. Looking forward to sharing these vessels with the ORG.

I think I've reached my final form....Moneymakers: Crucible, Starfarer and Hull B. Explore: 315p. Escort/Cruising: Freelancer MIS. Extras: Almighty Aurora MR and P-72. All LTI except the Aurora and 315p. I think this will hold until launch unless something big changes. :D

Well that's all for War Pig, folks. My hanger is still steaming hot from all the melting and my wallet actually dodged a few bullets. Settled on the following:

Endeavor Hope-class
Archi CCU'd to Star G
Avenger Titan
Herald w/ LTI from original concept sale
Reliant w/ LTI from original concept sale
Archi for use later as a CCU token (probably to an Aquila)
Mustang Alpha game package (will probably upgrade it to a 315p)

I think this rounds out my service-oriented fleet. It's been a great anniversary sale. I was also quite impressed with everyone's various choices. It really inspired and helped me flesh out what exactly I want out of SC. Fleet consolidation is more science than art to me so I am sure I've made the best choices for my planned play style. I'll be doing deep space surveying (aerial surveyor IRL), high risk logistic runs, and SAR ops via the Endeavor. 2.0 is looking great even with all the crashes. That's what PTU is for.

Cheers all!
