honestly, that's only because of a poor CitizenCon release. go back to September and things are pretty decent compared to 2023. However, the Starlancer was not the cash cow they envisioned compared to the Zeus which attracts a lot of different playstyles.. There is also one other thing. The Hull C and a big hull pack was released, allowing people to get the Hull E with LTI if they wanted. This was a huge boon to their bottom line.

In the IAE Show this morning it was indicated tthat the Guardian will be coming in 4.0. So probably immediately after IAE, as that patch is still problematic.

You keep talking like this, Santa might not visit.. even if it does come true lol. As someone who has been in 4.0 almost daily, it is coming along well but there is a metric ****ton of changes to get functional.

During today's IAE show, they did have Jax flying around in a Guardian showing it off & then later it mentioned the MISC Fortune in passing. So CIG was trolling us with teases.
Blame all the streamers that kept saying that they'd be just happy to have 4.0 in the PTU let alone being active in the Live version.
Yep, it is a tiny bit of a disappointment that the Guardian is not on sale during IAE's MISC day. But it is so heavily hinted that it's due to be released with 4.0 that they might as well just say so.
CIG probably think they'll get more revenue in the medium term by selling it away from IAE, when there's already enough ships to tempt us to part with our money. No real need to have a hot new ship compete for business against the hull-limited ships, starlancers, the medical terrapin and the Anvil Paladin. I probably missed some. So disappointing but it makes plenty of sense.

Honestly, as Mirai is a blend of human & Xi'an tech, it wouldn't have surprised me if the put the Guardian up for sale during the next Alien week. If it comes out before then, I won't be complaining.

In the main hall at Tobin expo centre today some dude was running round firing a rifle! All the NPCs were running for cover and cowering. No clue how he managed to do that. (It wouldn’t let me carry my rifle, as normal). Anyway, CIG already sell knives and perhaps are about to sell swords, so what’s the in-game reason someone can’t get all stabby in an armistice zone? And really, why do we need them anyway? Star Citizen is hardly about to become Elden Ring.
On and I am slightly excited to find out if the rumours of an Anvil Paladin are accurate or not. Maybe Garman Humble and the swords are some sort of pastiche way to tease this Paladin?
