I had this screenshot cycle up to my desktop wallpaper the other day and when I saw it i thought it was spooky!
It's the ghosts of all those lost to the Quantum Travel bugs of patch 2.5/2.6... I know because I'm one of 'em!

My wife always buys me the same kind of socks, that way I don't notice if any have gone into the void until there's only 1 left.
