Human, mankind and man are words for everyone.
Woman and Wereman are the correct words for the genders.
Men at work, man the rigging, etc, are the correct gender neutral terms for things! Why is a forest creature using proper English?
Because socialist Canadian schools!
Wereman!?! Canada is teaching 14th century linguistics? Plus in that case wouldn't it be wereman and wifman both of which usages died out around the same time (thanks to French influences supplanting perfectly good Anglo-Saxon roots). The only common modern use of were is werewolf (manwolf) iirc.
