Greeting fellow junkies.
Name is Steve P Go by Slacker here. and in other places but some bugger stole slacker before I joined Star Citizen so I will go by Slako in the PTU
First game I remember is Pong. (yep Im that old)
My first PC cost $3000 in 1992 and had a 250mb hard drive (that's not a typo)
First game I fell in love with Mech Warrior. I cant wait for the new mech warrior 5 but did not like the MW online version for some reason.
Also used to love Gran Turismo when my son let me play on his playstation.

Now my internet time was split between drive sim I-rcacing/Project cars etc & Flight Sim FSX/Xplane/P3D and now I just added StarCitizen. not enough hours in the day I need to quit my job.

I suck at PVP on the ground and in the air
Im most looking forward to the Medical aspect of the verse. but also will spend most of my time mining, transporting and exploring until the medical gets up and running.

Cheers lads and lasses I live in USA but talk and type like a Britt because that's where I am originally from.

that brings back memories

I built my first PC in '93 with a whopping 2 megs of on-board memory and an 80-meg HD

had to downgrade from a Windows-capable '386 to a DOS-only '286 to afford all that memory goodness

but I knew the memory was more important than a fancy GUI

it wasn't long before I got a Hercules graphics card (320x480 resolution) and a joystick to play Wing Commander 1

Welcome to TEST Slacko! I'm gonna quit my job as soon as I write this post... not really, but a guy can dream right?

Sounds like we're pretty close in the age bracket, my first computer was an AT@T IBM Compatible 8086, I worked all summer to buy my first 286sx just so I could buy this cool looking game that I saw in the store called Wing Commander. Ahh to be 12 again...

At any rate, I suck at PvP too except in CoD WW2 somehow... not sure how that works but I'm pretty decent there. Anyway, add me to your contacts, and check out the media section a bunch of us testies were out 4 wheeling on a moon a few days ago and I posted a video of it, we had a lot fun. Don't get weirded out by the man streaking on my ship, he tends to do that kind of thing and I already called dibbs. 😜
