I'm getting one, just not sure which one, I like the missile capacity on the shrike, but in reality, most light fighters shouldn't be in an engagement that long to let fly that many missiles.
I wish there was more info on the missiles.
All we know is that they are Tevarin missiles. That can mean anything. Are they fast locking? Fast moving? Track better/worse?
Woah, when did we pass $300 million? That was like 8 million ago.

I agree, however I did go with the Shrike. That many missiles on a stealth fighter loitering the edge of an engagement should really be able to ruin someone's day. If worst comes to worst, I have a nice upgrade token and a new suit of armour to go with it.
I'm glad to see I guessed right for once. Wow, BoredGamer said that the Shrike has 24 S3 missiles? WTF? Now, I don't want to seem like a xenophile (the Tevarin are UEE after all), but the Talon has got to be the most beautiful ship I've ever seen. Shimmering blue-green is absolutely stunning. This thing looks like an iridescent cyan ghost glittering through the black, definitely not something you want to catch you with your shields, or pants, down.
So what the major difference between the two? Do we really know, aside from one has more missiles?

My only issue with these ships are that they only come with specific alien ballistic weapons. I'm hoping that the Q&A will tell us that we'll be able to swap them out for energy / distortion weapons once they're in game. I'm also hoping that they will confirm or deny if the stealth mechanics of these will be on par with those of the Prowler so that they can escort them to the drop off point & provide aerial protection instead of risking sensors detecting them 1st to then deploy countermeasures against the Prowlers that are infiltrating with them.
Think I go with Talon big guns or ... aaah! or get upgrade to both then problem is solved... Indecisiveness is a curse ha ha ha...
