Welcome to the FPS and dogfighting interest thread. As of right now this is an unofficial group of TEST members who wish to partake in the FPS portion and/or the dofighting aspect of the game. This contains everything from mercenary work to actual TEST operations. As of right now I am not the leader, just the guy setting it all up and taking your ideas to turn this into a persistent universe ready group. Cause admit it, if we waited till the PU comes out this would be much harder to set up in short time frame.
Yellow Jacket
Quick explanation on our name sake, a Yellow Jacket is another name for a wasp. As most of you know wasps go after anything they don't like, just like us. More info here if you wish to read up on it.
Leadership
As of right now the people in place are in no way in command of this group. All that we will be doing is setting things up, organising, and setting a good atmosphere. Once the PU comes out you the community will be called upon to either make us official leaders or propose new leaders.

Groups within the Yellow Jackets
These groups are in no way official. They are all up to change, either from your input or from new information presented by CIG. More units have been discussed in the
Suggestion thread.
Fighter Unit
The flyboys who do the dogfighting. Everything from mercenary escorts to search and destroy operations. Operates in groups of three.
Infantry Unit
The frontline guys and gals who aren't afraid to get dirty. They handle large scale ground operations as well as mercenary work. For your average group of shooters who love gunning down hostiles. You'll move in a squad, falling into a larger detachment of multiple squads, with five members. Your squad will also receive support from various other specialists in the Yellow Jackets.
Gunship Unit
The flying detachment of the Jackets. Tasked with transporting Yellow Jacket squads for quick and deadly infiltration, once primary objective is achieved they will withdraw to a safe distance awaiting requests for support. All expert flyers and deadly gunners. Once they get called by the operators requiring air support, nothing stays standing.
Medical Unit
The medics of the marines. Obviously you can't have marines with out the skilled hands of these men and women. Comprised of personnel with medical equipment on their ships, as well as actual medics who will accompany squads into battle. Many of the medics serve in other squadrons inside of TEST such as infinity. Usually they operate in groups of 2 or 3 depending on availability of personnel.
Boarding Unit
Also know as CQB Unit. Tasked with clearing out ships as well as tight structures. They operate in squads of 5.
FART(S)* - Forward Assault Recon Team (Stealth)
These are the deadliest of TEST. As you could guess you can't start off as a badass right off the bat, selected from the most capable, the most deadly, and efficient Yellow Jackets. Specialized in various forms of combat and come from squads across TEST. Capable of being anywhere at anytime and resolving the most FUBAR situations. Spec Ops units contain five members for large scale operations. For small scale ops, when stealth is required, you'll operate in groups of three.
